“Big Rooms good location”

Went for a weekend
Pros:
Lively- alot of events were being held when we were there
Rooms were large (2 double beds)
Quiet
Fridge
safe
Located next to Mcgill, Tim hortons down the street, short ride to old montreal
Open lobby
Large bright gym
Lots of taxi service

Cons:
Parking- for self serve you need to drive down a side street, the valets are not super helpful about it but it exists (~$ 17 a day)

Stayed here for bussiness, got an upgraded room on checkin which was nice but there was a stain on the bedspread and dust all over the counter tops which was a liitle disconcerting. The room itself was large and well appointed. No internet unless you pay or sign up for their points program, when are so called upscale hotels going to get with the times and offer free wifi!! The lobby is ok and breakfast options are limited unless you go out.

I'm disappointed to read that there were several aspects of your stay that missed the mark. I will share your comments regarding the cleanliness of your room with our Executive Housekeeper. There is no excuse for this and I apologize. As you mentioned, complimentary wifi is available to our guests that join our Select Guest program and we hope that the wifi along with the other valuable perks will allow us to personalize the experience for our guests so each stay at an Omni Hotel will be enjoyable. For guests that are not interested in membership we do offer complimentary wifi in the lobby and public areas.

Stayed for an early week in May for a conference; Omni hotel was excellent- especially the location - across the street from McGill U (conference site) & a block from Mont Royal park for walking/jogging, and a 10 minute stroll from the pub/restaurant area around Crescent & Sherbrooke (including cigar bars); on the edge of 'centreville' - main downtown area on St Catherine. Hotel bar was small, quiet with an excellent though limited selection of spirits & wines; didn't eat in hotel restaurant.

Nice hotel, nothing special and a little further from town than advertised. Ask for King, likely gonna get a double. No free in-room internet unless you sign up with them. No complementary breakfast. Pool closed without warning. Sauna closed. Whirlpool was nice, but needs a changing room. These little things I've come to find essential for a business traveler. All-in-all, not a bad hotel for the price.

The Omni Montreal is located close to many downtown attractions that Montreal has to offer. The hotel offers in-out valet at a competitive price. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. Besides some late night revelers that kept the floor up upon there arrival, the hotel is ideal.

for anything other than email and web browsing. Hotel staff tried to help but did not understand the problems sufficiently to make changes. Omni IT assistance also not helpful. On the other hand, when a very noisy family occupied the room next to us and we could not stand it, they upgraded us and moved us very quickly to a better room.

Stayed a week at this hotel while my condo was being repaired. Friendly staff. They let me store my bike at front desk each night. Was upgraded to suite. Nice view of Mont Royal mountain. Perfect stay with nice view. What's not to like?
