The park is okay but nothing special and it wasn't well maintained, We had a map but there really wasn't any signage with any sort of information and no one to help out. We rode our bikes and until we met a security officer we weren't sure where we could and could not ride. Some spots are so clearly overgrown that you think it might be forbidden to go there, but it's not. What we were told is that the sections of the park are owned by several different people and government levels and each one maintains what they want..

We were there for Canadian Canoe/Kayak championships. Paid $55.00 for week of parking which was very limited for handicap vehicles. The place is dirty, needs cleaning as the facilities looks like the exterior of some buildings hasn't seen water in a couple of years. There were cobwebs, which have so many dead leaves in them that it lead one to believe that no one had cleaned it in a couple of years, some windows/doors had plywood coverings which was also very old.
The washrooms in both men and women that the water in the women's had to be mopped every couple of hours.
The Olympic basin itself is so full of weeds, that boats were coming in with seaweed on them.
The rocks along the side of the water are almost all in the water and the edges are falling into the water. Sound system doesn't work well and score board is broken...
If the province of Quebec or city of Montreal is supposed to look after this facility, they aren't doing their job. Garbage pick up was also sadly lacking.
