“Very Touristy..but guess you have to go once...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2014

Great to spend a sunny afternoon strolling around the streets of Old Montreal and around the Old Port. But bear in mind it is extremely "touristy" and shops just sell souvenirs.
Stroll along the waterfront is pleasant and its a panoramic view from the top of the Old Clock Tower....not spectacular but interesting...

“old Montreal has it all!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 August 2014

If you want to view magnificent historical buildings, great French and international cuisine with excellent service, beautiful music and shows, then take a cruise to Quebec, Canada, ending at the most fantastic city, Montreal, Canada. Holland America cruises made it romantic and special.

The only down side of our Canadian cruise was problems we encountered flying on Air Canada. Never again! They just caused us immense problems, from luggage concerns to making us almost miss our connection due to their errors. We never had these many problems with other air lines and we travel very frequently.

“Great spot to walk!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 August 2014

A great spot to walk along the water and have a picnic. It is a busy area, but lots of spots to sit and enjoy the view. There is a cool old clocktower on one end and lots of activities, great restaurants and a marketplace as you walk along.

“European-like feel in North America.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2014

Great way to experience another culture and cuisine in Montreal's Old Port. Great paths for walking or biking along the river and cobblestone streets for pedestrians lined with amazing architecture (restaurants, galleries, boutiques, etc). Worth a visit any time of year.
