This hotel is so far one of the best I have ever stayed at. Being a very frequent traveler with work I have stayed in many. The location is amazing, walking distance from most things or a quick Metro ride. Hotel is clean beautiful and staff is great. From exterior it may not look impressive however as soon as I stepped off the elevator I was delighted. I highly recommend this place.

Currently staying at this hotel for a conference.

Upon arrival, found this hotel to be quite odd. Once you take an elevator to the top floor of the building, there is no additional elevator to get to your room. There a multiple small steps to get to the main hallway of rooms and depending on where your room is,you may need to climb or descend a out 20 steps.

Room itself was very clean and spacious. Rooms have been updated from furniture, towels and bedding standpoint but still small dated items such as a chain lock on the door and soap dish built into countr which is not used...however these are minor details and do not take away from experience.

One complaint I do have is tht the water pressure for the shower is inconsistent. First night, there was no issue but past day the water seems to come in waves. While having a shower, the water pressure would fluctuate while the piping squeals. Other attendees mentioned the same issue this morning.

Sinnage for the conference rooms also is not that clear. Have seen much better at other hotels.

Wifi is nice to be free, but was given wrong instructions on check in and though it indicates on my tablet that we have free wifi for the day, have to repeatedly login to gain access on my laptop.

Staff have been pleasant and helpful.

Overall, pleased with stay but would probably stay at alternate hotel in montrewl if conference wasn't being held here.

Very nice hotel with a couple of shortcomings in service Concierge and housekeeping staff. I would recommend the hotel with it's great location and beautiful decor, but would recommend doing your own dining research.

Stayed at the hotel Bonaventure in downtown Montreal. First, the location is really central, we took the train and walked across the street to the hotel. We were also able to walk to Old Montreal as well as the shopping District so the location of this hotel is great.
The decor of the hotel is 70's concrete which is a really cool blast from the past, the rooms were clean and comfortable but the one thing that sets this hotel apart from others is that it has a year round outdoor pool. We swam in the pool morning and night because it was such a cool experience.
The only thing I wouldn't recommend are mixed martinis from the Bar, they didn't have a good selection and the ones were ordered really didn't taste good. We were surprised since almost everyone you eat in Montreal is exceptional and usually there are good drinks too - but not at the hotel.
The buffet breakfast however, is really worth the price and enjoyable - especially with the beautiful outdoor view of the water features, birds and plants.
Stay here - you won't be disappointed!

Room Tip: You can ask for a room with an outdoor view, just be careful that there aren't ducks nesting outside though - they were a bit noisy in the early morning and woke us up. It might have been the time of year!

Had a great stay at this Hilton. Rooms very clean, Quiet and comfortable. The hotel is quite a maze when you first get there to find your way around to the Lobby from the under ground parking, but after you get your barrings straight . No Problems.
