“Convenient, healthy way to take in the sights and sounds of the city”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2012

- nice mix of stops (markets, historical architecture, modern festivals)
- getting to ride along a stretch of F1 racetrack was cool
- almost the whole route was flat, so riding was easy and Montreal seemed to be a very biker friendly city with bike lanes on every road and understanding drivers
- fee was reasonable $25/4-hours, wasn't sure if tip was suggested

- the tour could be more optimal for photographers by reversing the order of visiting the sites. The sun was always at the back of various buildings visited, causing them to be in shadow. If the itinerary/direction were reversed, customers would be able to get some nice, illuminated shots of downtown, Notre Damn Cathedral, etc
- make sure to bring quite a bit of water, as most of the riding is in the sun and you get thirsty quick (though not so much hot cuz riding near the river creates some really nice breezes)

“Amazing tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2012

We had been running out of things to do in Montreal after having been there for three days, but Stephanie, the tour guide, made everyone fall in love with the city. The bike ride shows many of the neighborhoods in Montreal and Stephanie stops along the way to share fascinating tidbits and insider advice on things to do throughout the city. I felt like we learned a lot about the city in the most interesting way possible. The tasters of cheese and ice cream are delicious. I would take this tour again!

“Wonderful Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2012

Last week, my wife and I took a tour of the city with Stephanie. She is very knowledgable and incredibly friendly. She was also more than willing to customize the tour to our group's interests/desires! I would highly recommend taking this tour at the beginning of your visit to Montreal.

“Nibble of Montreal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2012

If you are looking for a great bike tour of Montreal this is the place for you. But if you are looking for a "Taste" of Montreal look elsewhere. When reading the tour description, we were led to believe it was a bike and food tour. Don't get me wrong the bike tour was fantastic, but this is no food tour. You stop for cheese in a wonderful shop (we went back again later) and for ice cream, but those are the only food stops. The tour is approximately 18K and does go up a couple of hills, so be prepared. All in all we road through some great areas of town and learned a lot about Montreal and its history. Stephanie was great. (She will wait for you if you are stuck at a red light). To sum it all up, I would take this fun bike tour again as a bike tour and just think of the nibbles as an added bonus.

“Fun way to learn the city with an excellent guide”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2012

We like to do something active in all the places we visit. For this trip, we decided to start off with a bicycle tour and it was the right decision. We did the tasting tour (which included a brief stop for some local cheese and ice cream) that lasted about 3-4 hours. Our group was rather eclectic- a large family with a few kids, several older couples like us. Stephanie led our group and she was very patient and informative. We rode up (down?) the canal bike pathway, then to the (near) top of a hill, winding our way around Montreal. The food stop was quick, but welcomed after a few hours pedaling around Montreal. We kept the bike for the rest of the day for a few extra dollars and went back to several land marks we passed on the tour, including a haul up to Schwartz's. That is a dangerous street to ride on (St. Laurent) with tons of traffic, buses, trucks, and up hill! The ride and the food was worth it, though. I would definitely recommend the tour as a good introduction to Montreal.
