“Extraordinary Service and First Class Accommodations”

Extraordinary Service and First Class Accommodations

Stayed here at a client's recommendation while on business in Montreal. Thank you client!!!! Had a wonderful experience starting with the super friendly parking valets and ending with an exceptional front desk staff that sincerely appeared to want to help you with anything you need!!! They have a business center with printing capabilities right from your room. The rooms are fresh, modern, and super clean. One tip - glass shower doors are so transparent that they can easily be forgotten about and bumped into (personal note). Otherwise the rooms are roomy and comfortable!

It's location on the grounds of the Basilica makes it centrally located to all the fun in Old Montreal. Steps from rue St-Paul and all the great restaurants. Its own Sinclair restaurant is a great and convenient place for dinner or just drinks and the terrace in season, is a blast!!!

Hunt for the pest prices online as the place commands a higher rate than some of the other hotels close by but whatever the rate, you will be satisfied and pleased! Also book early as I have had two occasions when I could not get a room at any price!!

Room Tip: Book Early

Our recent stay at Le Saint Sulpice was superb in part due to the excellent level of service we received at every turn. The staff was so helpful and courteous and really went out of their way to assist us! We were interested in a ski day during our stay and they recommended our taking a bus to Mont Tremblant which we did and it was one of the highlights of our trip. After a day of fun on the slopes and didn't have to worry about driving back to the hotel, so the bus was perfect. Another highlight was attending the high mass at the Notre Dame Bascilica, practically next door. The high mass has the full choir and to hear that amazing organ music was truly a treat for us! We've decided to visit Montreal again end of summer to take advantage of the many biking trails around the city.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and had a great time. We were upgraded to a larger suite upon checkin, which is always a bonus. The room was very large and comfortable and included a "faux" fireplace which put out heat when the heater was on - a nice touch in the winter. The lighting in the room could have been a little brighter. The Nespresso machine was a great touch. The lobby smells amazing and I really wish that they used that same scent in the bathrooms after cleaning. Would have been a nice "spa-like" touch.

If you are looking for suggestions, try and stick to the concierge - he offered some great tips. We asked a couple times for recommendations from the girls at the front desk, and were sent to some very non "vibey" places.

If you are looking for a very comfortable hotel with a large room, this is a great place. However, it does not have the vibe and feel as some of the other hotel lobbies that we walked into. The decor is pretty corporate in the lobby, and it is missing that boutique hotel feel. But all the comforts were there, and overall, a great hotel.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. You may have noticed that we are currently building our new 4 season restaurant on our terrace and access will be open concept from our lobby. The reason behind this was exactly to have a better vibe in the lobby which you did not experience during your stay. We look forward to seeing you back to experience the new ambiance.

Sincerely,

We stayed at Le Saint Sulpice for the second time over the weekend, and once again it was a wonderful experience. The staff is very helpful, extremely kind and also thoughtful.

The hotel is very well equipped, and each room has everything you need for a great stay in Old Montreal.

We travelled with our 2 year old, so the fact that the rooms are equipped with a fridge, microwave, and a small flat top stove is awesome.

The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious.

We will surely head back to Le Saint Sulpice. A very relaxing and accommodating atmosphere. Can't wait to return!!

What can I say wonderful rooms great, atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. It is a luxury hotel at reasonable prices in the heart of old Montreal. A hidden gem that is so very comfortable to stay in that we came back 2 weekends in a row!
