this really is the perfect stay if you wanna join comfort, peace and ease of being in a home shelter in the middle of the lively gay centre off montreal . the staff (philip& nicolas) are there to help you on your daily schedule if you like... the B&B is very clean, feels well organized and a very homelike atmosphere! Pour moi c'est parfait! cheers,F.

My friend and I stayed at BBV in the Gay Village right off St. Catherine and had a most wonderful stay for 6 nights. Francois, the manager of the B&B could not have been more friendly and helpful. Serge one of the Partner Owners was also great. The place is in perfect condition and spotless with comfortable beds and a beautiful Bath....we stayed in room #20 upstairs. The morning breakfasts are great and they have everything! If you are heading to Montreal and enjoy the comfort of a great B&B that feels like Home...this is the place for you! I will be going back here and HIGHLY recommend it to all.
Patrick. NYC

Room Tip: Room 20 upstairs was wonderful with a private bath

BBV is the best gay B&B experience I have ever had. The location is ideal because you are in the centre of Le Village, yet the B&B's location provides for a quiet, neighborhood feel. While busy rue Ste Catherine is only steps away, one enjoys a peaceful night's sleep. Not only is the location the best possible, but the accommodations themselves are superior. They provide a wide range of excellent breakfast options and one can always find a snack, fruit or bottle of water! This vintage building was very nicely renovated and now offers a complimentary washer/dryer, complimentary computer use, nice outdoor space and spotless accommodations. BBV draws a friendly clientele of couples and singles and the atmosphere is happy, fun and extremely comfortable. You will especially enjoy the warm and friendly care by Filipe and Francois; they really are dedicated to making everyone's holiday an enjoyable and fun one! AN EXCELLENT VALUE.

Totally picked BBV from reviews here on Tripadvisor and from their website. Francois is a great host and even flying standby and losing a whole day to travel he stayed up on our plans and flights.
The rooms are comfortable and yes you read the bathrooms are small but when you go to a city like Montreal, are you spending that much time in the room or bathroom.
BBV is convenient to everything including public transportation only about 3-5 blocks from the 747 express bus. Even though it is right in the center of the Gay Village it was quiet in the evenings.
My partner and I were there for the Opening week of Totem by Cirque, Montreal Jazz Festival and the first weekend of the international fireworks competition.
It was first time to Montreal and even after a 1.5 day delay BBV became a great haven.
Thanks Francois, we will return.

Stayed here with a few friends and was really surprised by the location and the B&B itself. It is not over the top fancy, as are other some B&Bs in Montreal, but was very clean, modern and well appointed.

It is in the middle of the gay village -- walking distance to nightclubs, bars, restaurants, attractions. The Beaudry Metro stop is also a short two blocks away.

Private, covered, parking is available for 10CAD extra per night and is worth it. I was able to keep an eye on my car the whole time.

Francois the inn keeper was very friendly and accomodating. Fresh muffins, pastries, and fruit daily for breakfast. Cereal, milk, juice. Tea and coffee.

We all left with a very positive impression. Cant wait to return!
