We visited this "Museum of the People" as part of our Via Rail Montreal Vacation with museum pass. It is located in a former bath house designed for the very poor factory workers in this now artesian neighborhood. Although there is little English, we had no trouble understanding the highly visual and artistic exhibits that revealed the lifestyle of the local French people. The architecture of the building alone is worth the visit! If you are truly lucky, you will meet the museum director, a truly charming, gracious, and enthusiastic man.
