“Bison, Ostrich or Caribou?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 October 2013

Nice restaurant that showcases beer from micro breweries, imported, local, you name it. Yes most of them are the most commercial ones (and you can find them almost anywhere) but at least you have a large selection to satisfy your tastebuds.

Their menu focuses more on mussels, they have two entire pages dedicated to them, but we decided to go for burgers, chilli and sausages, we were all pleased for the most part. The chilli was just ok, it felt more like an appetizer than a meal. As for the burgers (bison and caribou) they were delicious, juicy and not overcooked, you can still taste the gamey flavour. The prices for the burgers are right ($15 average) and the beer well, they vary a lot, I found some of the beers quite expensive for what they are (355ml XX Lager for $9.75 ???) but others are in the right price range... some of the beers are even 1L :)

“One of the best for mussels and beer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 August 2013

OMG! You will have your fill of mussels, especially on Sun-Wed when it is bottomless! 2 kgs of mussels for 4 people were plenty, without refills.... We had the Indonesian style (wine, coconut milk, basil, cayenne pepper, celery, onions, shallots) and the Irish style (Guinness, wine, cream, mushrooms, honey, Dijon mustard, celery, onions, shallots) - both good. We also shared a caribou burger, with cheese and jalapeno sauce, which was tasty. The beer list is fantastic - penty of quality tap beers and even more in bottles, all with descriptors of origin and taste. You will not be unhappy with this choice for a great dinner!

“Consistently Great Mussels”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2013 via mobile

Visit for delicious mussels. We had the Moules Bieres & Cie version. A large pot of mussels cooked with bacon, poutine cheese, onions, shallots, green pepper sauce, wine, cream and celery. This is one of my favorite ones! You also receive bread and French fries with dipping sauce. You won't go hungry. Lots of great draft beer as well - Sapporo is very good. Tip: if you're a guy and you are tall, duck if you use the basement bathroom.

“Always a fun time and great food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 March 2013

Been there a couple of times now, always good. Staff is always super nice and friendly. The beer selection is awesome, but the food is also very original. Nice plates, very tasty and fair prices. I love the ambiance, particulary in the summer with the large windows open. Perfect for a dinner with friends!
