They have the genuine stuff - no one else even comes close, despite the hype you may hear. Over the many years I've been around - I'm an old geezer - Jarry does it right. This is a family owned place that takes its time preparing the meat so that it tastes perfect. They don't rush the process. They use a secret recipe that Alex's father created ages ago. Alex is there everyday to ensure that things are done right. And Lou hand-carves the smoked meat with care and with that "masters touch".
Hand cutting really makes a huge difference versus machine cutting, which other places do to try to save a few bucks. Lou refuses to use a machine - never has, never will. He's an artist when it comes to hand-carving the meat. As a result, you get tender, juicy meat that tastes like heaven. Machine cutting kills the taste of smoked meat and drains the juices out of the meat.
Lou and Alex don't cheat with machines. They are proud to maintain the so-called old fashioned traditions of serving the very best smoked meat - anywhere!!
