This is THE best place in Québec City for croissant, pain au chocolat and other pastries the like. Excellent quality products.

Excellent pastries and breads. We wish we had stayed closer to Croquembouche - we would have eaten here at least once a day! Try the fennel and orange danish.

Walked by on the way to Nektar Coffee shop and stopped dead in our tracks - you can see the wall of extraordinary french pastries from the sidewalk, even with the line of drooling pseudo Europeans ogling the flaky delights. We went twice and everything was amazing - this is a must visit - it is a decent walk from the Old Town area but worth it (plus you can walk off the 1000 calories or so you will inhale here)- St. Joseph street is very cool - lots of good places (Nektar, Le Cercle, L'Affaire Est Ketchup, Le Cafe du Clocher Penche, a new Artisan sausage shop...)- Enjoy!

My daughter and I were spending a few days in Quebec City and stumbled across this lovely bakery and coffee shop while looking for somewhere for breakfast. All I can say is 'yum and big yum'! The choice is amazing and so difficult to choose. We bought a Bostock ( 2 slices of brioche, sandwiched with raspberries and almond cream, studded with with chocolate chips) and a pain au raisin/ escargot (sultana brioche). They were so yummy we decided to push the boat out and order something else! On several trip to Brittany, France, we had eaten and enjoyed Kougin Aman - a Breton butter cake which just oozes butter and calories: we had spotted those in this bakery but, whereas in Brittany you can only find them 'au nature', here there was a whole variety to choose from. So, after much deliberation, we plumped for Kougin Aman with pistachio, peach and white chocolate - to share, of course. Oh the decadence! But, boy, it was good! Needless to say, we did not eat for the rest of the day.......
If you are visiting Quebec City and like coffee and baked goodies, then this is the place!
