The room was nice. But they didn't clean the room the first day. When i asked to have it cleaned they said what do you want us to do? Really how about the bed, clean the washroom tidy up I said. A blank sheet of paper has more expression then they did! After a short discussion of how I pay good money for the room so do it they did. But the friendly greeting stopped each time we were in the lobby. Ñice room convenient location.

We were surprised by the charm and comfort of this hotel...it was much more like a true European efficiency apartment than a hotel room, and with friendly staff and excellent services. We liked it so much we extended our stay. Perfect location near great restaurants, shopping, gaslleries, museums and the farmers market. We're thinking of making it an annual destination. Only very small disappointment was the antiquated, poorly equipped exercise room which doubled as mattress storage...still, we got plenty of exercise walking up and down the hilly streets.

Nice location with very comfortable rooms! My fourth stay in Quebec and this is the best stay yet! Staff in the hotel, pub and restaurant were all very nice! Good wifi, good breakfast and a very nice king size bed! Right across from the cruise terminal and next to a stop for the Hop on/off Bus.

We stayed here for three nights and liked it immediately on arrival. We were met in the car park, which is right in front of the hotel and costs 15$ per day, by a member of staff who offered help with our bags, check in was friendly and efficient.
We had reserved a suite deluxe plus and our room was on the first floor at the front. It was spacious with lounge area, kitchen and dining area. We had everything we needed in the room, large T.V, D.V.D, radio etc. and the kitchen was well equipped including a pod style coffee maker. The hotel provided two pods per day but extras were available from reception at a small cost. The
bathroom was also well appointed, good shower over the small bath and lots of toiletries replenished as necessary.
Overall room decor was modern with exposed stone walls and wood floors, our bed was also very comfortable.
The hotel has a restaurant which looked very attractive and a pub which we went in only once which we did not like. We had been given a voucher for a free cocktail but when we entered the pub, the floor was full of popcorn, I think they gave it out with drinks, and it was very noisy.
Location is excellent, within a few minutes walk in one direction you are in the old town and in the other direction the port. There is a climb up to the higher town but we walked it on several occasions and had no problem. Immediately opposite the hotel are several restaurants, we ate at one, Bistro Le Brigantine, and it was excellent, see separate review.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again without hesitation.

Room Tip: Request a room on the front overlooking the square, rear rooms overlook a petrol station.

Without a doubt, this is the best place to stay while in Quebec. They spared no expense in creating a masterpiece of a property. Additions include a Keurig coffee maker. The decor is really amazing! Whoever designed this place, knows what they are doing. Would love them to renovate my home. Nothing out of place and the natural colors never clash. There is also a large led television. Why don't all hotels learn from this property. The location is outstanding. They also have soft music playing upon entering your room. Tastefully done. Bed very comfortable. Staff was outstanding when making the reservation and checking in. If I wanted a job in the hotel industry, this is the place I would want to work.

Room Tip: Room 214 has the beautiful brick on the walls, very large led television and no funky cable remote...

The service was good, but not excellent. The rooms were clean and nice, although a little bit small. Unfortunately there was some construction work being done in the same floor and a hammering noise woke us up every day, which is something that you definitely won't want on your vacation. If the job was unavoidable, they should have let the guests know somehow or compensate for that, but nobody said anything or even apologized for the inconvenience.

Loved everything about this hotel. We had a corner room which was very spacious with three windows that actually opened. Fully-equipped kitchen. Keurig coffee machine. Lovely decor. Location is perfect!
