Stopped into this little out of the way pub on a Sunday night when we didn’t want to go to s real fancy place. Had a pleasant dinner of simple fare presumably favored by locals. They had a unique take on several common dishes including French onion soup. Would definitely return. A good place for someone with kids.

This is a really nice small café off the beaten track so much quieter than many alternative options. We had dinner there one evening, pizzas followed by very nice desserts. We also had lunch there, cheese, wine and asparagus baguette, very tasty. It was extremely busy at lunchtime and involved quite a wait as just one person serving, the evening was much more relaxed. It is also possible to have breakfast there as I remember doing years ago when I visited with the children. The longevity of the café is testament to its quality, thoroughly recommend as a great alternative to the more touristy chains and one which has some excellent vegetarian options too.

We have been eating at this small place for a few years. Although it is in the tourist area, it is hidden away down a side street away from the chaos. You can relax and enjoy your meal. On this last visit we had ham and cheese croissants with coffee - very good! An uncrowded oasis where you can quietly enjoy your meal before moving on.

We stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner on a super cold day. The place was on a side street without a lot of foot traffic. That was fine with us. Loved the brick walls and the simple decor. We had a delicious veal in mushroom sauce - perfect for a cold day. We also had a vegan version (no cheese) sandwich. Both were filling and well prepared. Both came with a small salad and homemade mustard type dressing. We washed it all down with a decent house red. Space was intimate and quiet downstairs. Upstairs they had some other tables that can be used for games or meetings. Service was very pleasant and quick. It’s a small operation but very much local economy. They have been there for many years. It was a lovely experience.

Visited Chez Temporel for lunch on a snowy weekday. Very cozy place with a small downstairs eating area and a bit more space upstairs. There were 4 of us, all trying different sandwiches and chili. Fantastic food (save room for the maple pie!). Good service and reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit.
