“It's okay.”
Reviewed 9 July 2014

We went on this cruise thinking we'd get to hear a lot about the history of the area and the St. Lawrence. The guide mainly repeated the same basic story we'd heard at several different tourist stops before. They took our picture before getting on the boat and then again while on the boat and kept trying to sell the photos to us for $10.

While we got some good pictures of the city from the water, it definitely wasn't worth the cost of the ride. Save your money and do a walking tour of the city instead.

“Brunch Cruise on AML Cruise Line - Montreal”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

We took a brunch cruise on AML on July 6th in Montreal, and have some good things to say about it! The cabin was very comfortable, lots of room and comfortable seats. The food was absolutely delicious, and it was available from about 45 minutes before we left port and all through the cruise. The service provided was professional and friendly, and completely bilingual. We had two seniors with us, with limited mobility. We requested to switch our seats at the last minute to avoid some stairs, and the switch was done immediately and effortlessly (with a smile!). We were very pleased with our trip and will definitely go on another cruise with AML! Bravo, job well done AML!

“Whale watching with extras”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

We booked with the intention to see the whales. This is a rendez-vous with mother nature so you never know what you are going to get! I find that AML realizes that and they try to make up for it: we took the bus from Quebec City to the St Lawrence River at Ste Catherine Bay (3h drive). The driver commented all along (about what was around us as we drive and also about the whales), the drive itself is beautiful and the driver even slows down for picture taking from your seat.
When we got there, we were offered a full gear to protect from the water splashing (it also served as life-jacket). The 3h ride on the zodiac was great. We did not see much though and I was kind of disappointed. Whales only come to the surface to breathe so you would see them only for a fraction of a second. You really need to be at the right place at the right time.
I was glad that the zodiac ride was nice (seat at the very front to get the least water) and seat the back for more thrills and to get completely wet. As for the whales: you can only hope you are looking at the right place at that exact moment when they come at the surface to breathe. Service from AML all in all was great!

“Waited for over 2-hours”
Reviewed 10 June 2014 via mobile

Made reservations for todays 90-minute cruise down the St. Lawrence for the 2PM cruise and was requested to be at the dock by 1:30PM to board which we did.
Boat did not arrive until after 3:30 and did not depart until 3:45. Still no explanation ever given by staff.
During the 2-hour wait in the hot sun no announcements made of the delay or new expected departure time.
The 90-minute cruise lasted 67-minutes.

We sincerely apologize that you had to wait so long for your cruise. That day, the boat had undergone minor repairs following an incident and unfortunately was unable to return to the pier for the 2:00 pm cruise, as scheduled. As soon as we were notified about the situation, our team went to the pier to inform the people who were waiting about the cause and the expected time delay. We are sorry you did not hear the explanations that were given. In high season we offer 4 departures daily and they are always on schedule.

We are truly sorry about this unpleasant incident and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you aboard during you next stay in our city.

Best regards,

The food was fantastic. There was 3 appetizers, a wonderful meal that each choice had a lobster tail and dessert was great. There was music and dancing after the meal. Great experience
