This terrific venue is not a museum but a combination display of Quebec City and the surrounding area and a video (which they call a light show) of the history of Quebec City and the battles that ended up transferring eastern Canada from France to England. The information presented on the walls was extremely interesting as was the story of how the Musee du Fort came into being. The video is shown in both French and English versions (check with the ticket office to see available times for each; the shows are often fully booked so do this ahead.) The seats are very comfortable and the video is terrific. Lights illuminate each area in the display as the video explains what happened. It makes the visit to the Plains of Abraham and the citadel far more interesting. A good reminder too that the US has twice mounted a military invasion of Canada. The British fear of additional invasions led to significant additional fortifications of Quebec City. I did not see any wheelchair access; the show is on the second floor.
