“Big Disappointment - stay somewhere else”
Reviewed 29 December 2013

The room is freezing, windows iced up, no heat control, cobwebs in all the corners and along the cieling, small, dirty cracked walls... just very sad. Depressing place. This aint charm... it's a sloppy home repair job tryinng to pass as a hotel.

Don't bother, there are many other small hotels in the area, Never agin for us.

I asked for special service and they were very nice. They gave us the little extra I asked for. The room was very romantic and the location is perfect. I really appreciated my experience. I will recommend it any time.

Neat, clean, fresh and a great location. Had it's own private garden courtyard which was very pleasant for an afternoon wine and cheese. Nice foyer with some services, including lots of wine glasses. A parking station was just around the corner. Getting to Jardin was a bit tricky but it was in keeping with Old Quarter cities.

Clean room and comfortable.
No elevator, too many stairs to climb for seniors with luggage
Excellent location
Connectioning hotel staff helpful on checkin
We should have stayed here as there was an elevator and continental breakfast

My sister and I were on our sister week and we stayed at the Hotel , We were on the bottom floor and our room was very clean with two beds and a nice bathroom. We checked in at the Hotel Champlain next door and were greeted very warmly. Both ladies at the front desk made us feel very welcome and helped us plan some of our excursions. They, also made sure we had a taxi to take us to the airport at 2:30 am in the morning as we had an early flight . Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again. It is close to everything and we walked to most of the sights. It doesn't have and elevator so the people on the upper levels had to carry their luggage up stairs. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful city.

The hotel itself is a little odd in that there are two floors with narrow hallways - seems like an old home converted into a small hotel. There is a central lounge with a computer and a kitchen with microwave and drinks vending machine. Our room was on the second floor - narrow stairs which made us leave our larger suitcase on the main floor instead of hauling it up for the 2 nights we were there. No problem with that; no one complained and no one disturbed it. The room had two double beds, a refrigerator, a fairly modern bath. The staff at the Hotel Champion, two doors down, were extremely friendly and helpful. They look after the guests for Jardin Ste. Anne.
Location was fabulous; ten minutes from Hotel Frontenac and central square. Lots of restaurants around. For the price, it was great.

This quirky little hotel was built into a house, I think. The corridors and stairs are narrow and twisty but the rooms are good. There is NO elevator.

Note that check-in is at the Hotel Champlain, two doors to the right. There is no staff in this hotel except the cleaners. Parking is a few blocks away and the price is good - about $15 per day. Breakfast is available at a discount in the Pain Beni, owned by this chain and about three blocks away.

The best thing about his hotel is that it is on a quiet street within the city walls and just blocks from all the touristy sites.

Room Tip: Ask if there is a room with a view. There is a wing off the back with no view at all.
