Just walking around, enjoying shopping, resting with a beer or a great french dinner, you will have a nice day. Take the elevator to get the Frontenac Place with the nicest hotel I've ever seen!!

take the stairs down; ride the funicular up for $2.
check out the murials on several buildings. also visit Place Royal and go in The englise Notre dame des Vistoires church (free). be sure to stop and eat or get a drink in one of the restaurants. I stopped at Cotes du Cotes which had a lovely terrace and really nice place to relax over a beer.

It is such a pleasure to just walk around and feel the history here in the Lower Town. The atmosphere is what you like to think about in a historical place and the locals take excellent care of it. there are street entertainers, vendors, interesting shops and attractions, and lots of places to eat. This is a key area to visit in Old Quebec. We stayed here in the area and it was a delight.
