If you have a limited travel budget, and don't mind a 15 minutes walk to the old Quebec city, and most of the tourist attractions, I would say this hotel is hotel is suitable for you.
Valet parking is fairly priced compare to other hotels in the area. Staffs are all bilingual, friendly, and courteous, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. The amenity and the rooms are a bit aged, but I would say pretty well maintained.
Didn't try the hotel breakfast, but they look average. There are a few old fashioned French delis around the hotel that serves really tasty and cheap breakfast. I would recommend those places. Just ask the concierge and they will tell you. They know the area very well, and make practical recommendations.
If you are coming back to the hotel from old city by taxi, remember you MUST, ask for price before you get on the car, and do a little comparisons. Taxi drivers there (I guess in many other places as well) do take advantage of tourist, especially if you don't speak French. The prices can range from $4~$12. Make sure you don't over pay.More
