Dear Alan T, we are glad to read that you were quite pleased with your experience at our pet-friendly hotel in downtown Quebec City. On that topic, we are proud to allow our customers to travel with their little furry animal, preventing them from having to leave them alone at home or to find a keeper. The 15.00$ plus taxes per night that is mainly to cover for the extra cleaning the presence of the animals requires, but he or she will also receive a bag full of treats along with some poo bags, some useful dog service numbers and a map of the area highlighting the many nearby parks, including a dog-only park. Even better, our establishment does offer our guests the better of two worlds; proximity to the Old Quebec and easy access whether by foot or public transportation at lower prices than other hotels that are right inside the touristic area. We have promotions available year-long along with specials offers coming from Best Western to ensure that you still have some room in your budget to fully enjoy your trip. Some of our partners such as Expedia and Booking.com also propose some interesting deals and are worth checking, although it is always better to avoid intermediate in order to make sure all information are accurate. If you do decide to book with one of those partners, we strongly recommend you address any query or demand directly to us. So then, once again thank you for posting this review of your stay at our pet-friendly hotel in downtown Quebec City, hoping you will renew the experience soon. Best regards!

Staying here with our two kids. Spacious and clean room, with plenty of outlets to charge all the devices a modern family needs.
Ok breakfast at the restaurant, and other alternatives available in the surrounding streets. Walking distance from the old town, even with a 5 year old, but there are buses available close by as well.

Dear Henrik H, thank you for commenting on your stay at our hotel with breakfast included in downtown Quebec City. First, although it is not included in all reservation, we do offer rate that will allow every room occupant to start their day with a complete meal from our restaurant, Bistro le 330. Starting at 7:00Am every day until 11:00Am on weekdays and 12:00Pm on Saturdays and Sundays, you can choose to profit either from our “a la carte” menu or our American buffet as both are available when breakfast is added to a reservation. It is important to note though that in order to have breakfast added to your room rate, the reservation must be made either with our front office personnel over the phone, with the Best Western central of reservation or over our website. Reservation made through 3rd party cannot include breakfast. Then, if ever you decide not to have the breakfast included in your room rate, there are indeed plenty of alternatives around our property that will fulfill every appetite. Speaking of fulfilling needs, I am glad that you were happy with our spacious and clean room as well as the amount of outlets available to charge the many device one family is required to deal with in this day and age. Providing all services and facilities required by our international clientele is one of our main purpose and your comment does show that our efforts are not in vain. Of course, what would a device do without a high-speed WIFI connection, another feature that we offer at no cost to all our visitors. To conclude, as Randy S also noted in his review on October 2, we are just a few steps away from the main touristic area of Old Quebec with plenty of bus routes to help you reach your favorite attractions or activities. Well, I think the only thing left is to thank you one last time for this great review of your stay at our hotel with breakfast included in downtown Quebec City. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next trip to our beautiful city. Best regards!

Excellent hotel! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was fantastic! Not sure about the location. We stayed one night before boarding the Disney Magic. Got a taxi from the hotel to the cruise pier.

Dear belleandthebeast, thank you for commenting your stay at our hotel accessible from the Quebec’s Cruise Terminal. To begin, I would like to reassure all Tripadvisor users about Quartier Nouvo Saint-Roch, the hotel’s neighborhood about which you were “not quite sure”. For the past several years, it definitely transformed into THE new trendy area in Quebec City with the emergence of delicious restaurants with highly creative menus that creates a culinary trend unique to our area. To these inventive eateries, add the bars and pubs with original concept such as the 80s’ arcade-themed bar Macfly or the Fanamanga, the Japanese-inspired boutique-restaurant, several show venues and theatres that showcases a great variety of artists from different discipline, micro-breweries and useful service businesses like pharmacies and grocery stores and you get a lively, young neighborhood that everyone can enjoy, whether at day or at night. Even better, it sits just a few blocks away from Quebec’s main touristic district of Old Quebec in the lower part of town, so other than having to walk uphill a little bit, you won’t have many difficulties to stroll to all the attractions that are so famous and contribute to our city’s reputation as an ideal touristic destination. Speaking of destination, we are indeed the ideal hotel for visitors that are in Quebec to embark on a cruise or getting off one, as access to the terminal is quite easy to do whether by taxi or even city buses as bus route #1 has a stop just 3 blocks away from our main entrance. Having been voted Best Cruise Destination in North America two years in a row by the millions of users of the specialised website Cruise Critics, Quebec was thrilled to welcome for the first time the Disney Magic Cruise as it shows that it definitely is a growing destination for all kind of travelling, including cruises. To this, well I would simply like to thank you again for this great review of your stay at our hotel accessible from the Quebec’s cruise terminal. We really hope to see you again on your next trip to beautiful Quebec City, l’Accent d’Amérique. Best regards!

We stayed here overnight before taking a cruise. It is a 5 minute cab ride to the cruise terminal, for about $10., or a 25 minute walk if you are feeling energetic.

Great hotel. Clean, with large rooms and comfortable beds and hot showers. They also have a restaurant and a pleasant pool area. (unfortunately no hot tub and we didn't use the pool just peaked in)

We had breakfast at the restaurant which was very good. Our server Julien was terrific! You can add on breakfast to your room rate but we didn't because price wise it made more sense for us to order off the menu.

I would have liked the breakfast to have been included, without being an add-on. Many of the Best Westerns automatically include a hot breakfast. Also a hot tub after a long day of flying would have been a huge bonus. Hence the 4 stars. But otherwise very good and just my personal preferences!

Dear ellaVancouver, we are thankful that you took the time to share your experience at our hotel near Quebec’s Cruise Terminal. True that, our location is indeed very convenient for people coming off or embarking on a Cruise ship, as we are just 2km away from the Quebec City Cruise Terminal. Taxi, readily available through our front desk agents, are the easiest way to go from and to the Cruise Terminal, but also the airport, as every taxi offer a flat rate of 35.00$ from and to any downtown location. On a different topic, we are proud as a Best Western property to participate to their mission by offering a superior customer service, a features that was put on full display by one waiter from our restaurant, Bistro le 330. This attitude is the same you should encounter through every interaction you may have with any member of our team and you should never hesitate to seek their assistance at any time. To conclude, although it is true that not every rate do include breakfast, it is possible to include the morning meal with your reservation at a very low cost when you make the reservation with us directly over the phone, on our website or via the Best Western Central of reservation. By doing this, you will be able to start every day of your trip with a complete breakfast from the same restaurant where you were so well served, either by taking advantage of our fresh American buffet or our varied “a la carte” menu. So then, one last thank you for your comments on your stay at our hotel near Quebec’s Cruise Terminal, looking forward to welcome you once more in the near future. Best regards!

We appreciated the location: a 15-minute straight-shot walk from the train station and maybe a 30-minute walk (up stairs and a hill) to the Old Town area. Nice restaurants are very close by, but the walk to Old Town gives you many more options for dining and sightseeing. Our room was clean, huge and blessedly quiet (after staying at a different chain hotel in Toronto where we think a herd of elephants from the Toronto Zoo had temporary quarters). Staff was friendly and professional. Wi fi worked great.

Dear Kathy R, we are really thankful that you took the time to share your appreciation of our hotel with free high-speed WIFI connection. This feature, along with an indoor pool, gym, business center and many others are available without any charge for all our customers in order to make sure that all their needs are addressed, whether the purpose of their trip to Quebec is business or leisure. Anything missing? Inquire with our front office agents if we couldn’t be able to get you the missing item or equipment, as we do have plenty available, many free of charge. Speaking of our personnel, they will all be more than happy to give you all the details regarding our lively neighborhood or the most visited attractions of the Old Quebec, as their knowledge of these sites and the many way to reach them represents the best tool for our guests to plan efficiently their visit. You may ask them, among others, about the guided bus tours that either leaves straight from our main lobby or the Hop-on Hop-off tour and one of its twelve stops that is just around the corner from our property. This particular tour allows you to embark and disembark for the entire day at those twelve locations, spread across the old town so that you can explore the parts you prefer while learning about them and the history of Quebec City. To conclude, although you are right about the time it takes to reach Gare du Palais, Quebec’s main train and bus station, the Old City can actually be easily reached after a stroll of about 15 minutes. Should I add though that this path is mostly uphill and that the 30 minutes’ walk you mentioned is actually a flat course past Gare du Palais, Marche du Vieux Port on your way to the Old port and Quartier Petit-Champlain. So again, thank you so much for this kind review of our hotel with free high-speed WIFI connection in downtown Quebec City, hoping to see you again soon. Best regards!
