The Artillery Park is at the beginning of Quebec City's fortifications. You can start your visit from the St-John Gate to the Dauphine Redoubt. This will allow you to see the fortified walls, the cannons, the buildings and the park.

This was an interesting place to visit. Guides in period costumes will show you around and answer questions. There is a modest fee (under 4$ for adults). The place is, and will be under development for many years to come, so that while there is not that much today, it is still worth a visit, but will be more so as years go by.

The museum here is over the top of ruins and contains an original model of the city conceptualized hundreds of years ago and sent to Britain along with a request for funds. There is not a whole lot more in the museum, but we strongly suggest taking a tour with guides dressed in period military uniform. We got to prepare a cannon for firing, see the captains quarters and see a musket being fired. The staff was terrific.
