The location of the Hotel Manoir Victoria is very desirable. We were able to walk to the best restaurants, shopping and historic sites that Quebec City has to offer. The parking garage is only a few doors away and you always had an easy access to your car.
All of the staff was professional and accommodating, especially the bell hops who could answer any question we came up with.
If we ever find ourselves inQuebec City again, we would stay here.

Room Tip: If you get a room facing Rue St. Jean, be prepared to wake up early to the sounds of delivery trucks...

Pros: nice room, nice people, great location in the Old City. On the econobus route.

Cons: 23 stairs to entry. No elevator to the door for luggage. Slow elevator to room floors. Ice machine in basement, no plastic bags for ice.

Our personal pillow got taken with the sheets. When we alerted the staff, they tracked it down and shipped it to us two stops later down the road of our trip. Took several days, over a weekend, but free.

We liked the hotel, would stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the street. Our 5th floor room faced St. Patrick's space age cathedral...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Manoir Victoria for one night last week. I wasn't sure what to expect at first but the hotel was beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious and clean - it also had a king bed which was a nice surprise.
The hotel is located right in the heart of the main area, with lots of restaurants and shops to choose from. We were able to enjoy dinner followed by a few drinks as the hotel was a short 5 min walk from the main strip.
Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially the valet service.
This was a pleasant and enjoyable experience!

Spent 2 nights at this hotel in July. It is centrally located in Old Quebec. The staff is very helpful with giving directions to all of the historic places and to shops and restaurants. I could walk to everything as the hotel is close to the funicular which will to take one down to the riverfront. The room was very accommodating, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent.

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Old Quebec - the location is perfect for walking to restaurants and the city's most famous sights. We were able to check in early, which was helpful for a baby needing to nap. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The beds felt luxurious (our only suggestion might be to include pillows of different firmness levels). The pool was beautiful and tremendous fun for the kids - it offers varying depths for swimmers of all heights and abilities. The buffet breakfast is expansive, delicious, and impressive, and prices are reasonable for adults and discounted (or free) for children. The most outstanding feature of this property is the exceptional staff. We experienced old-school service. Without exception, staff members were friendly, helpful, engaging, and seemed genuinely happy and invested in ensuring a memorable and pleasurable stay. We will definitely return to Quebec and there is nowhere else we would want to stay.

On a whim we extended our time in Quebec City and located this hotel. We had stayed a few nights at the Chateau went north to whale watch and came back. This hotel has an unassuming front, but very quaint inside. The rooms were updated and had plenty of space. Not much difference in costs, but the Chateau had special rates during the July-August time. I think my only complaint was the lack of bar/lounge in the hotel. It has a restaurant for dinner and a place for breakfast. There is a rather large staircase upon entering the hotel to get to reception. Not a major issue, but I'm short and my luggage was heavy. They have many folks available for assistance. WiFi worked well. Tim Horton's next door - great for teenagers that eat all the time. Right around the corner there was an entire street full of restaurants and shopping. We walked to the Chateau many times and met for a ghost tour in the lower part. Short walk to catch tour bus as well. Would go back.

Room Tip: If a view is what you want, stay at a hotel that isn't in the middle of a block of buildings. W...

This hotel is perfectly located in Old Quebec City. You can easily explore along the Wall, drop down to the lower section (Petit Champlain, Old Docks, Place Royal), walk to the Promenade and Chateau Frontenac, explore quaint streets, shop, and eat. The room looked modern and was spacious enough to accommodate 5 (a little cozy with the rollaway bed unfolded). The beds in this room were queen size and comfortable. The rollaway bed provided an adequate night's rest, but not nearly as nice as the queen beds. The service was excellent and all the staff were friendly, informative, and professional. The lobby area was spacious and had many comfortable chairs. The hotel also had two restaurants: Chez Boulay and La Table du Manoir. I will make a separate review for Chez Boulay. We did not dine at La Table du Manoir, but it looked like they serve an excellent breakfast buffet.
