We stayed here for two nights while in Quebec City. The hotel itself is nice and offers free wifi in the lobby. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We had a view of the newer area of Quebec, so that was definitely a plus. The valets were friendly and spoke enough English to help us out with our luggage and the car.

My main complaint about our stay was that we were given a handicap accessible room and whenever we showered, the water would go under the curtain and cover almost the entire bathroom floor with water. In addition, there wasn't any sort of vent to turn on to get the steam out, so our bathroom was super steamy after using the shower.

In addition, while we were there, we were in the lobby using the free wifi and noticed tons of high school kids going up and down the stairs. We found out there was some sort of high school dance going on. While it was loud in the lobby, I'm thankful we weren't on one of the lower floors because it seems the kids from the dance were regularly going up to a different area and continuing their party there.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent stay with us. We are happy you were pleased with our spacious rooms and the comfortable beds. As for the small issues with your room being a wheelchair accessible room, I am aware that we are not immune to mistakes but we unfortunately need to use those rooms on the nights that we are at full occupation. However, I'm glad to read that you enjoyed our location and our friendly valets. Thank you again for your comments. We hope to see you the next time you visit Quebec city.

The room was clean and relatively comfortable, but nothing special. I expected much more for the price and the Hilton name. No free WIFI or continental breakfast. We could have gotten the same level of comfort plus free WIFI and breakfast at the Holiday Inn for much less money. It was also less quiet than other hotels we've visited. We could actually hear the guests above us walking! One night, at 1 AM, I was awakened by a staff member dropping what sounded like a metal tray of cutlery and dishes in the hall outside our room. A conversation with another staff member followed with complete disregard for the sleeping patrons inside the rooms nearby.

The location was convenient to the Old City which offered more restaurant choices than we could possibly need. Good thing, because the offerings in the hotel restaurant were slim and pricy.

Needless to say, we won't back.

My wife and I along with our three kids (5,2,10 months) checked into the hotel only to find that I had booked a room with a single king sized bed. While in this room, we discovered the impressive view overlooking the water and the old port. The staff was able to accommodate us and move us to another room on the other side of the hotel, which then gave us a view of the newer side of Quebec. The amenities were all Hilton-type class including the roof-top pool deck. The only down fall of this hotel (not to sound too snooty) was that the room service option was done by an outside business had to call us back in order to place our order with them. This didn't happen as we had sleeping kiddos in our room. Overall, great experience.

Room Tip: Water view or city view

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent stay with us. We are happy you were pleased with your stay overall. Thank you again for the kind words. I am a little surprised by your comment on our room service that would be an outside business. It is not the case, our room service is done here by our staff ordering food directly from our kitchen. i hope you have the chance to try ot the next time you are staying with us! Make sure you tell us of your next visit so we can prepare the room in consequence for your three children. We hope to see you soon!

We stayed here for three nights, great deal using CAA rate. Hotel is close to the Citadel and Plains of Abraham - be prepared for a lot of uphill walking in Old Quebec! Everywhere is walking distance - be sure to check out the Funicular near the Chateau Frontenac for an easy ride up or downhill. Room was spacious, and all views are great - either Old Quebec and the river, Parliament & the Plains of Abraham, or the city/mountain view. Outdoor pool on the third floor with a huge outdoor terrace was a big bonus. Our room did not have a refrigerator but was clean and spacious. It was near the elevator but there was very little noise, even during the Festival d'Ete. It would have been nice to have free WiFi in the room, and having only one bathrobe was odd. Tried exploring the tunnels to the Delta and the Convention Centre - did not find any food court or coffee place, but the alternate entrances on Honore Mercier (880 and 900) with escalators up to the hotel helped cut off a bit of the uphill walk! Note: we came in by train - I would recommend taking a taxi from the train station to the hotel as it was difficult climbing the steep hills while pulling a suitcase. We were able to take a city bus right outside the hotel which took us all the way to Montmorency Falls - about a 45 min bus ride.

Room Tip: Rooms with a city view are quieter. All views are good - other choices are view of Old Quebec &...

This hotel is definitely in a great location which is walking distance to Old Quebec which was perfect during the start of the Festival D'ete de Quebec while we were there. It was probably loud and I know for sure the streets were crowded below but we didn't hear anything late at night.

However, having to pay for wifi in your room was expensive and a pain. If you ever walked through the lobby, it was always crowded. For the hotel to only offer free wifi in the lobby area, you'd think they'd have a bigger area for most of their guests to sit and not feel like you're sitting on top of other guests. The Hilton isn't poppin....it's crowded in the lobby because no one wants to pay the wifi fee!

No microwave? Seriously?! We had a refrigerator but nothing to reheat leftovers or treats purchased while on our trips to Old Quebec. I'm just not used to a hotel which does not have both available.

First night, we checked in after 11pm. I pulled the sheets back on the bed to discover what might have been very dirty foot prints all over the underside of the bed sheets. We called downstairs and sat there while the Hilton Bed Sheets Team changed the sheets to what should have been clean ones before we got to Quebec City.

Then, we found several strands of hair in the bathroom that were not ours. We're both African-American with dark tightly coiled strands of hair. I'm pretty sure the straight blonde strands didn't come from us. When we did ask for the room to be cleaned, the housekeepers took our dirty towels but forgot to leave us clean ones. Sigh.

Our room was 1729 which was right off the elevators...no problem with noise. The view was ok. I didn't have any expectations on that front. Check out was easy since they have the Express Checkout box in the middle of the lobby area.

Coming from a fantastic AirBnB experience, this was a disaster.

We spent 1 weekend in May, and, while the hotel may be in a perfect location, close to the old town and everything, it is way to pricey for the value it offers. They charge a lot for everything, WiFi, parking. We will not be returning there, for sure.

Bonjour, firstly, thank you for commenting on your past stay. I truly appreciate your feedback as we constantly work to improve our on-property experience. I am sorry to hear that you feel you did not get your value’s worth at the Hilton Quebec. I must say that the charges you are referring to are very similar in many hotels in all of Quebec City. As for the Internet service, please know that it is offered complimentary in all public areas of the hotel. If you agree, I would like to talk to you privately, please contact me at marie-eve.galipeault@hilton.com or you can call me. Sincerely, Marie-Ève Galipeault

This hotel was in the perfect location. Just outside the walled part of the old city & across from the Parliament buildings, the Grande Allee & close to the Plains of Abraham (great for concerts).
Rooms are clean & comfortable. Pool/patio is on roof of 2nd floor (I think it was the 2nd!). Checkin was early and front desk was helpful & friendly.
