Loved the location in Vieux Quebec Basse-Ville...lower village away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist-y area. My husband and I spent 2 nights here "sans enfants" and it was in the perfect location to stroll the shops, dine at the many street cafes and enjoy some free street performances. Loved that we stumbled upon some free summer entertainment including a Cirque du Soleil performance being held under a major highway! Fantastique!! And, we learned of the show from the very helpful front desk at the quaint hotel! It was a huge plus they all spoke english even though I know enough french from my childhood days:) We loved the included breakfast...not just bread and cereal...actual eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, etc!
Parking, a little confusing, was in a lot by the water; we did not need our vehicle as we walked everywhere!
The room was clean, comfortable bed, small tv (not what we were there for) and loved the old brick and stone walls of the remodeled old building.
This may be a return trip for an annual parents trip away:) Enjoyed it immensely!
