Amazing hotel in an excellent location very charming and clean. Great location for sight seeing, shopping, and dining.

The breakfast in the morning was very nice, and the hotel restaurant Toast was also great. We will return on our next trip.

The positive reviews for this hotel were what encouraged me to make a reservation here. My girlfriend and I were indeed pleased with the hotel. It is very well maintained and much attention is paid to detail. The room is well designed and was very clean. The location is fairly central, though for people who don't want to climb steep hills, its location in the lower city may be a drawback. The room was a bit warm overnight and we couldn't get the thermostat to function in order to adjust the temperature. It was very quiet, though, which allowed for a good sleep. The hotel's restaurant is well reviewed, so we thought we would try it. However, it turns out that reservations are strongly encouraged on Saturday nights, given its popularity and small size. Free wireless internet is offered in all rooms, though in our room, on the third floor, the strength of internet connection was not very good, making it essentially unusuable. The breakfast which was included in the price of our room and served in the hotel's restaurant was copious and of good quality.

Dear drdMontreal,

Thank you very much for reviewing us on Trip Advisor!

We were happy to read that you and your girlfriend were pleased with your stay at Hotel Le Priori! Your kind words about the cleanliness of our rooms are very much appreciated as our housekeeping department gives it best everyday to offer neat and comfy rooms to our guests!

The Old Port is definitely a great location to explore our beautiful city! The walled city is easy to reach by funicular for guests who do not want to use the Côte de la Montagne.

Please receive our apologies for the inconvenience you encountered with our free Wi-Fi. We are currently working to offer the same strength of signal in all rooms in our main building. We are wiring and adding more antennas in this main building, to compensate for signal loss due to the thickness of our 18th century walls. This process should be over next week and will definitely solve this matter.

We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back!

Le Priori is one of my favorite hotels in the lower city of Quebec. I just love the shower -room enough for two- with multiple shower heads streaming from the slate interior... The tub right in the bedroom was so romantic! A communal soak in candlelight, warm water and wine..... The down duvet whispered warmth and the decor with dramatic color scheme enveloped us completely.

Hosting an inner courtyard, Le Priori gives a dining experience away from the usual bustle and noise that meets the usual street side al fresco diners. It is subdued and elegant and the cuisine is some of the best to be had in the city.

Room Tip: My favorite is the purple room with the bedside tub but I have stayed in their larger room that boas...

We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Le Priori. It is conveniently located in the old town where it is close to all the attractions, including the funicular and some of the best restaurants that Quebec City has to offer. Lovely and helpful staff, fantastic breakfast, rooms are clean and modern, everything you'd expect from a boutique hotel.

One minor quibble - which thankfully did not detract too much from our stay - we stayed in Room 21 which is directly above a private function room at the hotel in which a birthday party was held during our first night. Thankfully it finished at 11pm. The room is also on the same landing as the ice machine and chilled soft drinks machine, whilst convenient, did wake us up a couple of times during the night as other guests collected ice.

All in all, a wonderful hotel in a great part of town and I would definitely stay here on our next visit.

We stay at the Hotel before catching a cruise ship out of Quebec. This is a great location for seeing both the old city and new city. It is only a few block from the cruise dock, we could see our ship from out room. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. At one point while I was out of the hotel, my wife got cold. The front desk lady provided a space heated, and offer to bring her a cup of tea. We were going to get a cab to the ship because of our luggage, but the hotel store some of our bag while we took part of our luggage to the ship.

Dear Robert G,

Thank you very much for reviewing Hotel Le Priori on Trip Advisor!

We are delighted to read you have enjoyed your stay with us! Our location is indeed very handy for cruise passengers boarding on Pier 22 as it is just down our street. Some of our guests can even see the ship from their room! The Old Port is as well a great base to explore the Old Québec, both Upper and Lower Town.

Your kind words about our staff are very much appreciated, thank you very much! We know that boarding a ship can take some time and we are always happy to store our guests’ luggage as long as they need during the day.

We hope you had a great time during the cruise and will be happy to welcome you again!

Great location, the staff was attentive and the front desk ladies were so pleasant and very helpful with suggestions and directions and the language. The bed was too hard for our comfort so we told the front desk and they sent a housekeeper right away up to our room with a big down comforter and she took care of it for us. We had a much more comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options to satisfy. The dinner menu however was not what we had in mind, but with so many restaurants and hotels so nearby, we had other options. We would stay there again :)

We stayed there for 2 nights before the cruise. The location is excellent, walking distance to the cruise port and in the old city where all the tourists are. Many eating places within walking distance. The rooms are small but if you are in Quebec city as a tourist you don't need a bigger room. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

Room Tip: Just watch the 2 steps in front of the hotel entrance door, very narrow steps and if you are carryin...
