First class accommodations and staff. Walking distance to everything beautiful Québec City has to offer. We were greeted at the front desk by Martin Dufour, front office manager. He was fabulous throughout our stay, as was Lydie Marie, reservations manager. Our top floor room #609 was lovely, with a two-step up walk to a huge terrace, with a perfect view of the Frontenac Hotel. (Why anybody would want to stay there after experiencing the Auberge is a mystery to me!) The Weds. evening reception was a wonderful surprise, with friendly staff there to greet you with outstanding hot hors d'oeuvres and cocktail of choice. We loved a particular CD that we played on the Boze in our room and they even mailed it to me, when I inquired about purchasing it. A fabulous overall experience and we'll definitely return!

Room Tip: The sixth floor is the top and only floors five and six have outside terraces.

This hotel is very conveniently located when you want to walk around the streets of Old Quebec. Charming although a bit expensive if you are traveling with family.

Auberge Saint-Antoine is a unique hotel with a staff that typifies the Relais & Chateau model of excellence. I stayed in a room that had an extensive deck with views of other roofs as well as Le Chateau Frontenac in the background which made for a stunning view. My room was very comfortable (about what one would expect from a Relais & Chateau) and the staff of the hotel could not be friendlier. I should mention that the hotel is in a very old building that has been totally and meticulously refurbished with special attention given to many old artifacts that were beautifully displayed throughout the hotel including the guest rooms. I had an excellent dinner and breakfast in Panache which was served in an amazing setting. I had intended to stay at Le Chateau Frontenac this trip, but I was intrigued by the Auberge Saint-Antoine and made the right choice. This is the only hotel I will consider when I return to Quebec. The location, staff, and beautiful old setting makes this a very special place to stay.

This hotel is an absolute charm. The Price Family have not overlooked one detail. I just love how they have added pieces from the archeological digs all over the hotel, including the rooms. The heated floor in the bathroom was really lovely, the bed was so comfortable and the views of the St. Lawrence were magnificent. The hotel is in a super location, it's easy to get to fine dining and shopping. It was pure luxury!

We stayed at this property for our first visit to Canada and Quebec City. We really enjoyed it. It's in an excellent area in the Lower Town, but very near to the Upper Town, the latter being the site of the Fairmont hotel that is one of the top attractions in Quebec.

Our room was in the King Luxe Terrasse category. It was nice having the terrace. I liked how the room was historical yet modern, with an updated bathroom and nice quality bed linens. The common areas in the hotel were very nice, especially the cafe/lounge area. The hotel's restaurant, Panache, was of excellent quality. We ate there for breakfast each morning of our stay as it was included in our room rate. Very good and professional service.

Free wireless internet access and a feeling that you're not being nickled and dimed at this hotel, which is unfortunately the growing trend for luxury hotels, contributed to an enjoyable stay. As to the latter point, the hotel didn't even print up a bill for breakfast since it was included in our stay which was very nice. When we noticed on the checkout bill at the end of the stay that a room service breakfast was charged, they promptly took it off the bill. At some hotels, there would be a protracted process of the front desk person contacting their manager for approval and so forth.

The concierge was helpful and professional. The only negative I would say about the hotel is that I noticed that the carpet in the hallway leading to our room (Room 501) was stained in areas so that could be replaced. Other than that, a flawless stay.

Our favorite restaurant on the trip by far was Echaude, which is a modern bistro about a block and a half from the hotel. I highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor to maximize the view.

I was in Old Quebec for a wedding. Auberge Saint-Antoine was a nice hotel but truly there are so many hotels in the area and I peeked into many of them through the other wedding guests and they were all lovely too. The location was very convenient with many shops and restaurants all around. The room was an executive king suite. Nothing extraordinary but it was clean, good size bathroom with robes and slippers and the usual toiletries. Free wi-fi. The high rating goes to the staff: very courteous lobby staff, friendly valet parking, wonderful restaurant staff, extremely helpful housekeeping staff. I would recommend it.
