This truly was one of the most comfortable hotel experiences I have ever had - the room was spectacular and looked amazing - wood floors, spa shower - it felt better than home - the bedding was like sleeping on a cloud...thank you for a more than amazing experience...merci beaucoup!!!

This auberge was probably the best hotel experience I have ever had and I have stayed at many of the Westins, Marriotts, Deltas and Hiltons...

Our room was upgraded upon arrival to a room with a terrace and a fireplace which was definitely a bonus! The room we had was 604, la Chambre des Esperances. I really enjoyed the simplistic yet comfortable design of the furnishings and color scheme. We were instantly relaxed.

The soaking tub was a definite plus after walking all day throughout the vieux-Quebec which is very close by. Save yourself a 6$ taxi ride and use the funnicular to get to the upper part of town.

The restaurant, Le Panache, although quite pricey, had really delicious food! We were both full by the end of our meals and enjoyed a delicious specialty coffee at the hotel's Cafe Artefact after our meal at Panache.

At night, we arrived to find our room playing soft classical music, dimmed lights, our bed ready for slumber, bottles of water on our night tables and a note reading "Goodnight.." with the next day's weather forecast.

It is the added touches that make this hotel experience so wonderful!

i,ve stayed at many hotels over the years and some very very fine ones , but i have to say this is the very best i,ve experienced..it has alot.., charm, romance, location(its tucked at the very corner of old quebec), rooms are nice and big(stayed in a theme suite), service was great, quiet , clean, and its like a little museum too with peices of the history of the hotel scattered around..pretty cool i,d say..i dont know what the new part of the hotels rooms are like but i stayed in room 322 and as far as im concerned you wont go wrong..its definitley old but very well kept and modernized to some degree..

Auberge Saint-Antoine is a perfect choice for customers who appreciate the boutique hotel experience in a wonderful setting in historic Quebec. Rooms are spacious, beds are amazing, decor is tasteful and no attention to detail is missed. I loved the incorporation of the history into the building as well as a small reminder in each of the guestrooms. Washrooms are immense with heated tile floors, fantastic showers (including a rain shower and additional shower head), huge tubs. Linens and bathrooms are perfect. In addition to the lighting in all the expected places, I appreciated the lighting behind the desk as well as the the top of the bed's fabric headboard. His and her closets were a nice touch as was the incredible espresso machine...I couldn't wait to wake up to try it out.
Fitness room is great with a good array of cardio equipment and some weights.
Lounge is great....serves an outstanding mac & cheese with shimiji mushrooms and sauce. Nice areas to relax with your laptop and get some work done or just chill out.
Breakfast buffet is very good...one of the highlights was a mushroom quiche.
Restaurant, Panache, is outstanding. Impeccable service, beautiful decor, great wine list and incredible food.
In summary, I'll make Auberge Saint-Antoine my first choice for trips to Quebec City. Can't wait to go back.

Check in went fast, but without any friendlieness and the valet whisked the car away before I had the chance to get what I needed. The sleeping area was small, well laid out and the bathroom was wonderful. Warm floors and unique styling. Maids were unhelpful with extra pillows, coffee. It seemed like it was a chore to them even after a nice tip. I guess the staff at the time were all too sterile and unhelpful. There are many excellent hotels in this area to choose from that offer much more comfort, ambiance, friendlieness.

Every detail was taken care of. We showed up quite early before check in and the staff was more than happy to hold our bags and park our car until our room was ready. We went on a walking tour of Old Quebec and while enjoying lunch the front desk staff called to let me know my room was ready (two hours prior to official check in time) !!! This was only the first time this fine establishment to exceeded our expectations and certainly not the last. The bar staff in the cozy lobby area were awesome and our casual dinner there was excellent. Breakfast the next morning at Panache was perfect ! our room was so cozy we decided to skip the carnival night parade. Room was super clean and we both enjoyed the heated bathroom floor.

As I said above our expectattions were exceeded which does not happen often. Cannot wait to stay here again !

We spent four nights at the Auberge Saint-Antoine right after Christmas. The staff at the hotel worked hard to make sure our stay was just right. The fireplaces in the lobby ( with every board game available that you could want) were a welcome retreat after a cold day outside. We would stay here again and have recommended it to friends. C'est Bon!
