“Le Roquet”
Reviewed 22 December 2013

While visiting Québec City December 7, 2013, we stumbled by this delightful store. We bought two bags that said têtu, rebelle, et authentique for some friends of ours. They loved the bag and other dachshund lovers would like one. Please publish their website I cannot find it.

We passed the store several times and finally went in because the designs are so memorable. The 90 degree mountain climber spoke to us as a gift to our son and the cat designs were so fun and appropriate for our daughter and daughter-in-law we could not resist!. The owner is indeed a memorable character-but don't ask if he is a graphic artist---he is an artist! Loved the experience.

“Unique t-shirt designs; unique owner”
Reviewed 17 July 2011

If you are looking for some original, "off-the-wall" t-shirt designs (also tote bags, aprons, etc.), check out this store, located in the lower part of town. We stumbled upon it by chance, and struck up a long conversation with the "unique" owner, Denis, who creates all of the designs. As we shopped elsewhere later in the day, we really didn't see much original stuff, so we returned the next day to buy more gifts from Denis. Not cheap, but very different from typical t-shirt slogans and designs. Denis admitted that his store once had a website to sell his items, but it didn't do well because he routinely FORGOT to check for new sales. He's that kind of guy. A talented artist but, admittedly, not exactly a great businessman.
