Simple decor but authentic. The food was very good and the service was good too. They even treated us with a baklava free of charge at the end.
Bring your own wine (you can buy some at the grocery store just in front of the restaurant - Metro).

Searched for vegetarian and hit a the bullseye! This is an Afghan restaurant with lovely ambiance. They also serve meat dishes but we ordered 4 vegetarian dishes. They were outstanding. Spices used were garam masala, curry, hint of lemon zest etc. Fresh nan. Pleasant friendly service. Reasonably priced. Bring your own wine.

My friends and I reserved a table for 6 pm last Saturday, and arrived on time. At 7:45 PM, a waiter came by our table to tell, not ask, us to finish quickly and leave. We were still eating at that time. A second waiter came by a few minutes later and was even more insistent. When the reservation was taken, no mention was made of any expectation that we would leave before 8 PM. The rudeness of the staff towards customers was beyond the pale, and I will never again eat at that restaurant. If the owners believe that this type of conduct is what Quebec clients accept, they are sadly mistaken. In addition, the food was of very marginal quality. The nan was dry, the rice overly wet, the butter chicken drowning in tasteless sauce. As for dessert, we left before having any more displeasure. We felt like the Taliban had set up shop in Quebec City.

Excellent food, a varied menu, and plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. Appetizers include salad and there is an entire page of veg options. No animal products in the naan or parantha, all super and a comfortable and well decorated environment too. Go!

I work very near this restaurant and go several times a year. The Nan bread is amazing here as is the lamb sabzie and butter chicken. The lunch menu is a great value with delicious soup included with all choices below 14$! Vegan options for 8$ (avoid the soup it has chicken).

And bring your own wine (strong red wine the food has lots of spices yum yum)

Service is relaxed but ok remember this aint a five star french restaurant its a very simple place.
