Very nice, typical kebab type shop on Rue St. Jean. The food was good and helpings large. I found the food very flavorful and we definitely would return.

I ate here several times during my stay, and mainly got the lamb entree, which is served over couscous. The first time there were root vegetables, carrots, parsnips and I think rutabagas. The veggies were perfectly cooked, delectable and very flavorful.
The lamb was tender and juicy, it tasted like a cassoulet cooked by a mom or grandma with crazy culinary skills.
The next time it was a different combination of vegetables, but equally good. I actually bought a final dish to take on the airplane! The folks who work there are very nice, and I can't wait to visit Quebec again.

I can only say that I would use 1 star rarely, but this place deserves it to the utmost for their exceptionally bad service. First not acknowledging walk-ins and then second for their tremendous wait time even without any other customers. We walked in the first time and walked out after a 10minute wait with the guy being busy having not made any eye contact with us. Then we decided that we where going to go ahead with the quick bite since it suppose to be a quick cheap bite before our more fulfilling dinner that was to follow at a nicer place. This place was a pure disaster and its my fault for stepping back in since I was craving a kebab as I was on the journey to go all French on this trip and found this as my only one time to splurge on something I trust I will like (that being kebabs). They have a second floor on top where they have it set up nicely with a large tv where some people where watching fifa. The chicken kebab wrap was fresh but nothing special. Overall it wasn't the food or the place that made this place get my 1 star - my overall disappointment in service led to this 1 star which I use very sparingly.

Quebec has a lot of great restaurants to choose from, but we came here on high recommendations of a friend. They were raving about the three meat poutine. Since there were three very hungry people, we decided to order two shawarmas, and the three meat poutine to split.

Honestly, I thought the poutine was nice, but nothing to rave about. The shawarmas on the other hand was amazing. It felt light, and the chicken was juicy. Personally the second best shawarma I've ever had.

They gave us Morrocan tea for free just before we left, which was nice.
