Very amenable hosts who went out of their way to accommodate me at the last minute. Very quiet house and only saw a single soul despite it being full for most of my week long stay.

Lovely hosts. Great front desk man.

Spotlessly clean. Comfy bedding. Warm and cosy.

Fantastic homemade breakfasts each day.

Beautiful dog. You must ask how her pups are for me!

Perfect location, within walking distance of Vieux Quebec and Basse-Ville. Good recommendations for dinner (go to Le Cloche Pencher).

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful weekend stay at the Chateau des Tourelles in Quebec City. The B and B is located on a main street, filled with nice restaurants, bars, and shops, which is a 10 minute walk to the old city.

The breakfasts both mornings were delicious. We were served omelets the first morning and eggs benedict with spinach the second. The room and bathroom were on the small side but very adequate for 2 travelers.

The hospitality is exactly what you'd except at a top notch B and B. I awoke one morning at 630 am, before anyone else, and the host made coffee for me. Very nice touch! Overall, the service was exceptional.

We stayed here in the Irma room - a weeklong road trip through Quebec. Our reservation was made after many changes to our itinerary. Alan was always very responsive to our e-mails. As we were out and about exploring the city, we arrived at the Chateau in the early evening. It was very quiet, and we felt as though we had the entire old house to ourselves. We trundled up to our room on the top floor and began to get settled. It was perfect - the parlour had a futon for our little person, and a lovely double bed in the main bedroom. The room was clean and had the basic amenities - toiletries, blow dryer, towels and a handy fridge.

We set off on a quest for dinner and found several great looking restaurants close by. We settled on a restaurant called The Hobbit, and had a great dinner less than a five minute walk. We carried on back to the Old City - it was less than 15 minutes on foot. Very close.

Beds were very comfortable, and the bedding was very clean. Inside of our room, we had a nice little balcony and access to stairs that take you to the rooftop. Here you find awesome views of Quebec City.

Breakfast was between 8 - 9 AM in the common area. The hosts prepared a delicious breakfast of Rosemary & Cheese omelet with fresh fruit.

Overall great experience and would recommend in a heartbeat.

The B&B itself is so charming and nice. The owners are kind and the front desk (William) is the best. The room is charming and quaint. However the mattress was very soft, which for some people is amazing, but for others can cause a slight back ache. Also a lot of noise in the morning from buses driving by, to little kids outside the door. Also breakfast is from 8 to 9:30 only. It would be more ideal if breakfast was from 8:30 to 10:00 for those of us who enjoy a night out and want to sleep in. Overall though, it was very good.

This is a very nice, charming, well situated hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great place for those who wish to discover Quebec and its environment.
Of note, we rarely had such a delightful and well served breakfast.

We just came back from spending 8 nights here. My son (16) and daughter (20) and I stayed for a week during Winter Carnival so we could visit another daughter studying at Universite Laval. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The hosts (Allen, William and Claudette and especially Rosie) were warm and welcoming, the breakfasts scrumptious and the location hard to beat. It is very close to all the sights yet not down in the touristy part of town. We had a two room suite that suited us perfectly and was kept delightfully clean. We also had a fridge in our room so we could cut down on costs of eating out every night. Great views of the city from our windows. Only a short walk to the #800 (and #802) bus that gave us easy and inexpensive access to Laval, the Ice Hotel and Montmorency Falls. This truly was a delightful place to stay and I would highly recommend it to others.

My boyfriend and I, a young couple, headed to Quebec City for Valentines Day. It was a snow storm that day, so unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest. However, when we arrived at the Bed and Breakfast we were greeted by a lovely woman, Claudette, who was looking after the establishment for her Nephew. She has no reason to feel bad, but she apologized for her English, which was perfect! She showed us to 2 rooms that were available to let us choose the one we wanted. This place was immaculate! So clean, so cozy, the decor made the character of the building stand out. We really can't say enough about the feel and just everything about this place. The next morning, our sweet lady made us the most amazing omelet with fresh fruit, home fries and toast, freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee. We also had other choices to choose from. Because it was a slow time of year, she was there doing everything by herself, and what an incredible job she did! We walked everywhere, it was a 20 min walk to Chateau Frontenac, it was a 20 min walk from the train station. But was so close to other amenities. This is a perfect place for a mature or young couple, whether it be for romance, affordability, quaintness, we can just not say enough about Chateau des Tourelles!
