Pros: family hotel, small and nice, breakfast of quality served a la carte, kind owners
Cons: rooms are small and noisy, cleaning service not so efficient (room was not cleaned one day)

I expected something more looking the reviews.

Stayed: August 2014, travelled on business

Sorry that your stay was not as you'd expect.

For information, we clean the rooms every day, exept if the guests stay in the room until the middle of the afternoon, or grip on the door "do not disturb".

Best regards

Jocelyn

Very well maintained inn. Very clean and quiet. The children loved its character and atmosphere. The owner made us feel very welcome. It's out of the walls though. Maybe it's a good thing. The breakfast had a few choices with good portions.

This is a quaint B&B with super friendly and helpful staff.

Pros: Fantastic breakfast (with eggs or French toast, slices of fruit, coffee, tea, orange juice), friendly and accommodating staff, many good nearby restaurants, reasonably priced, comfortable room with air conditioning, free WIFI, and hi-def flat screen TV, next to convenience store for drinks and snacks, roof-top seating

Cons: long walk of 1.4 miles to Quebec City's main square in front of the Chateau Frontanac hotel, small parking in warehouse-style garage, small room and smaller bathroom

We celebrated our 20th anniversary at the the B&B for 5 nights and would definitely stay again, but only if you don't mind the nice, long walk down Rue St. Jean, which we enjoyed.

If you are looking for a typical, American-style hotel with a sterile personality, this is not for you.

This is an older building with no elevator, but it's clean, bright, and well-situated for walking tours of QC's historic district. The manager, William, was so friendly and helpful. He guided us to a good restaurant for dinner. Don't miss the roof observation deck with spectacular views of the city. The cooked-to-order breakfast was excellent. Also it's nice having off-street parking provided at only $10 @ night. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location, very friendly owners, excellent breakfast! Clean and well preserved! William, the owner, served us the breakfast feeling by himself always smiling and attentive, providing us with all the information needed for the city sights. We traveled 2 adults and 2 children ages 16 and 11 - we took a suite and it was really spacious. They have a nearby FREE parking, and because of its central location, you don't need to use your car.

It is a really good hotel. Excellent Breakfast. Location is really good, you can walk elsewhere in the city. People are fantastic, they help you to find the most important places to visit during your stay, where can you go to dinner or to solve any problem.

Loved this hotel. It was in perfect walking distance of the old town. Ownership were really helpful and friendly.
Breakfast had a good selection of eggs and frenvh toast.
We stayed with two adults and one child in a suite and that was really spacious. Especially in the city.
Loved the rooftop terrace.
