We walked here from our hotel for a late dinner, and were a bit disappointed. The food was great, and the wine selection was impressive. We ordered the fixed menu, which was very nicely presented and had lovely flavors, except for the cheese course which was inventive and bland.
Our waitress was the most up-tight server we've had so far, and was rather cool to us when she learned our French wasn't very good. Even though we were trying to practice, she spoke to us only in English. The server who brought our food was much more relaxed, and spoke with us in French to describe the dishes he was serving.
It was, in general, a nice evening, but overall, it wasn't our favorite place to eat in Quebec City.
