Our group of 8 stayed two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Auberge is well located to restaurants and the Old City. The staff was extremely helpful, arranging a tour, taxis to the train station, and opening the breakfast early to accommodate our early departure. The croissants were spectacular! And there was a lovely side patio where we could meet up before going out. I can't wait to go back someday.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay here. The location was super convenient and close to restaurants and all the sights of the Old City. The innkeepers are friendly and helpful, the inn is charming, and our room was extremely comfortable! Croissants at breakfast were a delicious treat. We were especially grateful when one of the innkeepers let us into our room when we thought we were locked out - he came immediately and was very gracious about it, despite the fact that the mistake was entirely ours. We will definitely be staying here again whenever we get another chance to visit Quebec City.

Very nice, comfortable hotel. Room was very nice. Breakfast is not included, but the continental breakfast is very good. Location is convenient to the old city, about a 15 minute walk and there is a city bus that goes directly past the hotel. Easy walk to the Plains of Abraham. Excellent variety of restaurants within a couple blocks.

This is an adorable hotel in a great neighborhood and with an exceptional staff. We really enjoyed the people working here who gave us great suggestions for getting around (walkable!) and for restaurants in the area. The hotel is a quick walk from the walled part of the city, which was great for getting away from the crowds. Off-street parking was arranged in advance, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. The staff really went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our time in Quebec. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to QC.

As others have noted - and this is important - the location is a short walk away from the most touristy areas of the old city. The hotel, smallish, is very quiet and charming. Breakfast was first-rate: good way to start the day.
My double was well-appointed and with character. I didn't need to ask anything of substance re: directions, places to eat, of the staff. That said they were clearly friendly and available to help out if necessary.
The price was reasonable. Very much so.
I recommend this hotel highly!
