This is a wonderful little B&B. We stayed three nights, 9/29-10/2/13. Really loved the place. We had a room with two beds, bathroom, and a little balcony, very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The location is perfect - we walked everywhere. The breakfasts were delicious, with different main course every day and a great selection of fruit, colds cuts, cheese, jams and spreads. The owner Marjorie is a great host, and enjoying her company and her sense of humor every morning at breakfast added a lot to our Quebec experience.

Room Tip: Our room had a bathrooms, but some rooms share a common bathroom, so make inquiries when you book.

We stayed for three nights in December. A family of 5, three kids from 7-11. We stayed in a room with two double beds and a provided futon on the floor. Big room, big clean bathroom, great shower (no tub) and a common living room was 6 ft across the hall with a couch, a few chairs, a small fridge and a tv / DVD player. Wifi was very good, could even stream Video. Owners were nice and helpful, helpful with luggage. Free parking provided. Outstanding breakfast, breads, fruit; and each day we had something different like eggs and bacon, French toast or crepes. Great location to all things in old QC. Cannot recommend high enough.

The best part about Chez Hubert is the breakfast - there was variety and everything on the table and from the kitchen was good. The B&B is in Old Quebec and has parking (at no additional cost) in the back. Most of the attractions in Old Quebec are at walking distance and we didnt drive the three days we stayed there. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The bathroom I felt was very well designed to provide all the amenities in a compact space. The living room is a great hangout place with a tv, good collection of dvds, books and tourist guidebooks. The owners were very friendly and helpful. In some of the B&B's we have stayed the guests are welcome in the kitchen, but at Chez Hubert I felt it was not the case. It's not a big deal, but sometimes a kitchen access is useful. Another suggestion would be to have an option to make a payment by 'card', it will be a lot more convenient for some guests. Overall, Chez Hubert is a great B&B and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in OId Quebec.

We spent a lovely night at the Chez Hubert (after a night at the Chez Marie Claire, two doors down and managed by the same couple, and equally good). The Chez Hubert has an excellent location on a quiet side street in the old city, so you can leave your car and walk everywhere. The free parking behind the house is a huge plus. The house is a 3-story town house with high ceilinged rooms and great charm. We stayed in a large room on the second floor with a comfortable queen bed and large newly remodeled ensuite bathroom that had beautiful tile work and a big shower with great water pressure (sometimes missing in old buildings). Everything was very clean. On the same floor is a spacious sitting room for guests with a big flat screen TV, and great natural morning light - so pretty. There were additional rooms on the top floor that I did not see. Breakfast was served in a comfortable dining room on the first floor, with an excellent variety of foods, including hot offerings. Finally, the best part is the owners, Marjorie and Pascal, who could not have been more friendly and helpful. Also, we want to compliment Genevieve, who made and served wonderful breakfasts, and was a joy to visit with. We highly recommend the Chez Hubert!

The owners at Chez Hubert were incredibly helpful to us in our stay in Quebec City, recommending restaurants and attractions when we asked. The room itself had a great quaint feel to it, but the bathroom facilities left us very wanting. We had a room with a private bathroom, that had a bath and no shower. We both found the bathroom very cold and found it difficult to warm up. The beds were comfortable otherwise and the stay was very nice. The location was very desirable, we could walk everywhere we wanted to go in Quebec City.

Lovely stay, just wish the bathroom was warmer!

Great location right in Old Quebec City, friendly hosts, European feel.
Our room was on the top floor, with our own adjacent bathroom that was newly renovated. The house is decorated tastefully and we felt right at home.
The breakfasts are delicious, warm, and with all kinds of delicious jams and spreads with toast on the side. There is parking out back.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

We stayed two nights and enjoyed the location and the fantastic breakfasts. We had a private bath right outside the bedroom which was brand new. The 2nd floor TV and sitting room was a nice addition but we were so busy we did not use it.
