Great place. All great reviews do this place justice. The owner, Antonio Soares, and the staff are great people. They are helpful, extremely friendly and provide great tips for restaurants, specially Gilles, who indicated the best two dinners I had in town during my five day stay. The room is beautiful and quiet. The breakfast is included and is the best in town. Definitely a great option for business or vacation trips.

My daughter and I just returned from a 4 night stay at Auberge Le Vincent and can't wait to return! The room was so cozy and clean and everything we had hoped for! We stayed in Room #6 which had a private shower (a small window as compared to a full wall of glass) and was so quiet we felt like we were the only ones there! We were quite surprised in the morning to find people in the dining area eating breakfast...lol Oh, the breakfasts (which are included) were superb! We had a choice every morning of 7 or so different meals which included fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee/tea. The staff were so attentive and polite and waited on us like we were the only guests there. We felt like we were in someone's home. :) You never had to ask for anything - it was like they could read your mind! ;)

Check in was great after a long 10 hour drive from Nova Scotia. The young girl at the desk showed us to the parking garage ($15 a day inside a locked garage across the street), helped us carry in our luggage, showed us to our room and provided us with a map on which she wrote all the local favorite places to eat and see. So helpful! We ate at Petite Cochon Dingue in Old Quebec City, and it was delicious - about $25.00 for two for homemade sandwiches, soup and coffee/tea. Very busy little spot; try it! :) We also purchased some rolls and pastries at Paillard's bakery and cafe just inside the walls of Old Quebec to take back to our room. Yummy!

The Inn is located a pleasant walk from Old Quebec City. Close enough to be convenient, but far enough away to get some privacy. Don't be fooled by the area as it's a bit industrial; we felt quite safe staying there. MEC is just down the street for anyone who loves to shop there!

The lobby is beautiful! The floors are painted in a Van Gogh style and there is a fireplace and leather seating where my daughter and I enjoyed an evening relaxing and chilling by the fire after a long day of walking around Old Quebec City. There are movie DVDs for use at the front desk - no charge; that was a very welcome treat too after a long day.

The showers...magnificent! Rain shower head as well as a hand held! No shortage of hot water and towels were replenished every day as needed. The maid service was terrific too! We would return after our day outings to our bed made, bathroom cleaned, bottles of water in the fridge (no charge), and chocolates on our bed! There is an espresso machine in the room too; enjoyed that immensely!

This is THE place to stay in Quebec!!! We can't wait to return and have been telling everyone about this wonderful gem. :)

Thank you to all the staff at Auberge Le Vincent!

Room Tip: We stayed in Room #6 which had a private shower if you are not traveling as a couple. :)

Check in was a breeze and the car was quickly wisked away to underground parking ($15 extra). Showed to our room and it was exactly as displayed on the website. Great space and atmosphere and very warm and inviting. There are only 10 rooms and it is very quite, perfect for those seeking quiet relaxation.

It is a quick cab ride from the Chateau and walking distance to a number of shops, restaurants, bars and pubs.

Breakfast in the morning is fantastic and of superior quality. The eggs and crepes were great and the coffee selection was impressive.

Overall a very good stay and would definitely return in the future.

My boyfriend and I went to Québec City for a long-weekend getaway in February. We had a fantastic time and a lot of it had to do with the wonderful home away from home we had to go back to at Auberge le Vincent.

Everyone there was so friendly and knew who we were when we arrived. The room was beautiful. We absolutely loved it. There were DVDs at the front desk that we could borrow - very nice after a long day of skiing - and we took advantage of the included breakfast each morning, which was delicious!

Highly recommend it for a couples' weekend away!

Room Tip: We had room 5 and loved it, but I'm sure all the others are just as nice. We were on the back-en...

This Inn is absolutely wonderful from the service, to the room (with rain shower!), to the breakfast to the beautiful and delicious breakfast. They even provide a selection of DVDs and a DVD player in the room! The parking is extra, but very conveniently located behind the hotel. We absolutely loved this inn (and Quebec!!) and will stay here again.....

Just got back from a two night stay at Le Vincent with my husband and we were very impressed. Very well located (only minutes from the steps and elevator connecting lower/upper Quebec), and was within walking distance from everything we wanted to do. We took advantage of the 15$/day valet parking, and not once did we feel the need to take our car anywhere. The service was impeccable, we were given excellent help and ideas with what to do with our time, as well as helped us choose restaurants and even went so far as to make reservations for us (Ciccio was a cute and kitschy Italian restaurant but the food was AMAZING, try the arancini!). The rooms were very clean and super cozy, and the Lavazza espresso machine was a nice change up from the standard drip coffee machines you usually get in hotels, most importantly it was easy to use and we took full advantage of it! They also have a selection of DVDs that you can choose from at the front desk. The highlight for us was the complimentary breakfast, we aren't talking muffins and cereal, you had a choice of crepes, croissant, french toast; they all came with a choice of sausage, bacon or ham, a glass of fresh orange juice and a coffee of your choice (cappucino, cafe au lait, etc..). All in all we had a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: This is only a 10 room hotel, we stayed in room 6 (third floor), from what we have heard and read th...
