We stayed for 3 nights in July 2014.

I booked based on reviews on this site. I was a little nervous when the cab driver from the airport wasn't familiar with the Hotel. And then a little more nervous when he pulled up in front. You see, the hotel is on quite a busy road that doesn't appear to be near tourist activities.

But at night the road isn't so busy and I think the walls are so thick you wouldn't notice it anyway. And in terms of proximity, it actually turned out to be ideal. You can quite easily get to old town, but it is also close to less touristy areas that my wife and I like to explore, such as Rue St. Joseph and the part of Rue St. Jean that lies outside of the Old town.

Our room, (#1 I think) was spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff was fantastic. Antonio made me coffee and provided advice. We didn't take breakfast any of the days as we like to sample the fare around town.

If you just have a day and just want to see Old Quebec, maybe book a place in Vieux Quebec, but if you like to get out, walk and explore, this is a good place.

Thank you very much for your comment! Indeed, the hotel is in the heart of downtown Quebec, but we took all the precautions to mitigate that. When inside, the triple-glass windows take care of the noise! Location, location, location, that's the secret. Even though, it doesn't seem like it at first, our location is almost perfect! We're near St-Roch lively nightlife, the more traditional Old Quebec a few minutes away on foot, easily access from major roads as the 20 and the 40.

Thank you again! We're looking forward to see you again in the future! ; )

The location was good for the walk to the old city. Loved the decor with the Van Gough inspiration. Breakfast was delicious and very reasonable price. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Don't pass up Phil Smoked Meat just down the street.would absolutely recommend this hotel. Only drawback was the lack of elevator.

Thank you very much for your comment! We're glad you've enjoyed your stay with us! Indeed, a full breakfast, like ours, is hard to find, specially with our prices! We are also happy you enjoyed our service, which is one of things we are most proud of!

We wanted to stay in a place with the charm of Quebec and this was it ! Great service, good breakfast , and a very clean comfy room love the brick walls. Location is great for walking up to the old city about 10 min walk. The staff was outstanding and very helpful.

Where to start with this wonderful gem in the heart of downtown Quebec City. The Hotel Vincent is small, only 10 rooms, so guests receive very personalized attention. What this hotel lacks in big hotel amenities is more than made up for with its charm and guest services.

Upon arrival Diego greeted us and the entire checkin process took ten minutes from arrival at the desk to being situated in our room. They take care of parking your car in an indoor, secured lot for $15 a day. We had full access to our vehicle at all times with a remote control.

Everything about this hotel was spotless. In fact, we found Quebec City to be an incredibly clean and Eco-friendly city.

Our room was a bit small but plenty comfortable. Each room is different but if you view the rooms directly on the hotel's own website and use the 360 degree tour, it gives a very accurate depiction of the room. Our room had a full, private bath but it did appear that the showers were in the middle of the room in some rooms so be sure to check if this is a concern for you. We were on the third floor and there is no elevator. Quebec City requires a lot of walking and my husband and I both have bad knees so we will opt for a room on the 2nd floor next time to reduce our stair climbing. One great benefit of the stairs was we didn't feel guilty over indulging in the phenomenal breakfasts! The crepes are to die for. Somehow, my protein shake just isn't going to compare tomorrow.

As far as location goes, Hotel Vincent is in a great position. It's on the far edge of the St. Roch district close to trendy bars and the lower part of the city but just steps away from the elevator (free but limited hours) or stairs that take you to the upper part of the city. Even though we had our car, we walked everywhere and covered the entire city.

We were delighted to present a Trip Advisor Award for Excellence to Marie-Eve. We wish we had more for Diego and Kathleen.

My significant other (ma blonde, comme on dit en Quebecois) and I spent time recently in Quebec City. Le Vincent was all it was advertised to be and more. The people/staff were great!! They sent us to great restaurants, and helped us with how to get where we wanted to go. They indulged my beginning French and helped me to learn more. The breakfasts there were excellent. We enjoyed our visit immensely and we would happily do it again in the near future. Maybe this fall 2014.

Room Tip: Just ask. Antonio or Diego or others are very happy to help.
