The 5-course tasting menu featured a variety of delicious and nteresting dishes, including fois gras, and was willing to substitute scallops for the deer tartare for me. Wines were well chosen to go with each course and explained with care.l. Because it was our anniversary they brought a maple liqueur to finish off the meal.

As we were staying at the Chateau FRontenac, we popped in here for a light lunch as we had dinner plans for later in the day. We split a mixed green salad and the salmon tartare plus some tea which absolutely hit the spot...not too much, but perfect for a midday refueling.

After being greeted a glass of champagne, we were brought to the table with the best view in the restaurant. The servant was genuine and polite. We all enjoyed his services.

For food, we three all opted for the tasting menu. The chef definitely had the potential, but there might be some improvement needed.

Lobster was a little bit chewy. Can be cooked 2 minutes less or refrigerated for less time.
Deer tartar was beautiful.
Seared liver went well with berries, but more sweet sauce needed to balance the richness.
The vegetables came with filet were perfect, but my beef had so many tendons.
Desert was nice.

Food plentiful and much variety. Desserts excellent. On two (2) occasions dirty dishes were not removed. I found my server Daniel socializing with other staff and was not attentive. Overall the Brunch at $60.00 had excellent food but poor service.
