Sometimes you want something different, but delicious and this place certainly did it for us ! Food was creative and home-made delicious. The waitress knew the menu well, and was pleased to explain - service was quick on a Saturday night. My husband who eats everything, was thrilled at what can be done with soy products. The vegetables are not overcooked, the spicing was unusual, the food had a "clean mouthfeel" and we felt well the next day, unlike some fabulous meals which can leave one feeling bloated and guilty about cholesterol, salt, etc. The price for 2 for a large meal with tea and dessert, and tip was $62, a bargain. We'd definitely go again. OH - important to us : The music was instrumental, at a low volume, suited the place and DID NOT INTERFERE with our conversation. Save me from restos that blast my eardrums with junk music through cheap speakers. This place is relaxing.
