My spouse and I broke our road trip near Quebec City traveling from PEI to Ontario. We found Mike's just a short walk from our hotel (Comfort Inn), so gave it a go.
Vieux-Québec (Old Quebec) would have been more romantic... but we just wanted a quick over-night stop.
We were pleasantly surprised with our first visit to a Mikes restaurant. The staff were great and quite willing to assist us mostly in English (we speak only limited French... un petit peu).
The restaurant calls itself a trattoria -- informal dining, with mostly Italian items on the menu. We shared supreme pizza accompanied with wine and beer. Very nice, if conventional.
Our server was delightful, very friendly and helpful.
So we'll be back if we are in the area. Or, if we find a Mikes restaurant elsewhere, we would certainly consider dropping in for a bite.
