duck was tough, salmon tasteless, lobster salad had no taste.
Overpriced and pretentious for no reason.

This is probably the best meal we had in Canada for this price range. We have not found good restaurants in this country yet...

We looked everywhere for a good place to eat. A good place that does not serve overpriced everyday meal like sandwiches, hamburgers and french fries.

We finally found this restaurant after ten in the evening on Friday and we were seated right away.

We had duck confit, curry Cornish hen, fish and mussel in lobster bouillon, and duck breast. Everything was flavorful, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.
The servings were all pretty small but the quality of food was really good. We did not walk out hungry.
After three glasses of wine and four entrees and 15% tax, it was $136.
It wasn't cheap, but in a touristy town, everything is really expensive and really bad. It is just like the prices you have to pay for drinks and foods at a ballgame.

When you have to pay $16 to 28 for a tasteless entree with old vegetable salad and fries, around $ 22 and 30 French dinner entree is a great alternative.

Easy to get seated on a rainy Monday evening. Otherwise it would be a good idea to make a reservation. Wonderful French Onion Soup. My companion had the Lacquered Duck Breast and I had the King Salmon with Asparagus Caesar Salad. Both were excellent choices. Would love to have the recipe for the Asparagus Salad. The duck and salmon were perfectly cooked and the sides were fresh, tasty and unusual. Had my first piece of Sugar Pie. It is like pecan pie without the pecans. In other words, sinfully delicious. Great wine selections. Service very good. Expensive but worth the quality of the gourmet menu choices. Would definitely go back. Highly recommend

Good food, ambiance and tables outside. What more could you want? It is in the old port area and yet on a quieter street.

We waited for 45 minutes for a table outdoors on a lovely evening. The food was good, as was the service. It wasn't exceptional, but it was very good.
