Caution: The service levels at this hotel are a disgrace…so if this is important to you...keep driving and find another hotel!
We stayed at the Hotel Le President very recently and while the hotel looks nice and comfortable, beware the staff is nasty, items are broken and there is absolutely no regard for hospitality anywhere here.
We arrived to find a broken elevator and had to carry our bags up several flights of stairs. Later when it was fixed, management posted a sign saying that it costs $800 to fix the elevator and those who broke it would be held responsible.
We stayed on the second floor, next to the laundry. On Saturday morning, shortly after 720AM, we were awakened by what we thought was a train passing by the hotel. Turns out that this was the housekeeping staff running the giant washers. It was terrible!
So, if you do stay here... DO NOT STAY IN ROOMS 201, 201, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208 or 209. And most likely the same would hold true for rooms on the 3rd floor, so be aware.
In addition, the ice machine on the 3rd floor was broken, the machine on 2 was empty and we finally found ice on the first floor. Only to walk back up stairs numerous times.
I went the front desk and asked to be relocated, but this request was denied. Thus I asked for a manager, none...Caution: The service levels at this hotel are a disgrace…so if this is important to you...keep driving and find another hotel!

I went the front desk and asked to be relocated, but this request was denied. Thus I asked for a manager, none would speak with me. I asked for a rate reduction, none was offered, but I was told to call the hotel on Monday. I left my card and asked for a manager to call me back. Again, no one from the hotel contacted me in this regard.
The pool is nice, but the lifeguards hassle guests left and right. And as soon as the pool closes, the lifeguard says "The pool is closed you must now get out!"
So, if you are considering this hotel because it looks nice and offers comfortable hospitality...keep driving. You will NOT find any customer service here...at all!More
