We ate an excellent dinner plus great desserts. The service was fine and the menu diversified. They also offered a wide selection of wines.

“Fantastic find in Tadoussac”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

Great place for a nice meal at reasonable prices. We had the Labrador flounder ($18.95) and the bison ($22.95) today, and both dishes were very tasty. Really nice atmosphere, but the service - while very pleasant - is relatively slow.

“Lovely evening if you're not in a rush”
Reviewed 3 July 2014 via mobile

We had an enjoyable dinner at this restaurant, with many local seafood options on the menu and decently priced wines. There was one person serving the entire restaurant and he was doing his best, but service was slow.

The menu is in French and both of our white fishes came out with the same sauce and accompaniments. That said, the meals were good.

It's a good not great sit-down restaurant which is as much as one can hope for in this town.

“Quaint little place tucked away....”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

Found this place while wandering around town. The upper level is the restaurant while the lower level is a deli with fresh sandwiches etc. My wife and I had a very nice, low key dinner here in this converted house (like all establishments in Tadoussac.....). The decor is provincial old style, very quaint. Service was quite good, food as well. Very quiet while we were there, but it was early in the season.
Recommend for a romantic type dining our experience.

“Restaurant La Bolee”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

If you stay downtown, you will inevitably gravitate to one of the restaurants on the main drag, because they are close, kids are tired and cranky, or you are just looking for something quick like the cheap buffet at Le Bateau. But if you walk just a little further, tucked away on the side at 164 rue Morin down by Highway 138 you will find a gem. Warm, intimate, with beautiful service, even to the children.
The food is prepared with such love and attention to detail, it made up for the long drive, the cold standing on the deck of the whale watching ship, the fact that you only had fries and a hotdog for lunch. Leisurely dining, a real FIND.
