The hotel was beautifully situated on the river and had a lovely outside bar area and rotunda where you could sit and view the river. The rooms were very spacious and also had lovely views . We also had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant at the hotel and both were superb . My only negative comment would be that there was no lift in the hotel and hence my husband had to carry two suitcases up three flights of stairs and there were no self serve laundry facilities . But apart from this the hotel was great and I would recommend it to others .

Didn't know this place existed until now and ready to recommend it to everyone ! Thanks to all the team for the best service and a memorable week-end !

Room Tip: No beach In April, but on the water; Good for walks.

My wife and I searched for a pleasant sojourn between Quebec City and Montreal. This was it. Perched only a few feet from the St. Lawrence, the inn is rustic, comfortable, and quiet. However, the dinner was spectacular. The chef is an artist who pairs local produce creating a world class dining experience. Also, the wine library is extraordinary. One of us dined on elk, the other on monkfish both with an assembly of tasty vegetables. We drank an excellent white wine from Quebec. We're coming back. (One concern: our computer-created travel directions were confusing. Traveling from Quebec City west, exit at route 55 south off 40 and turn west on Notre-Dame Ouest until you find 10911 on the left.)

Room Tip: You have a choice of lakeview or none-lakeview. Take the lake.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise given the reasonable rate of $159 in colour season no less. Breakfast is not included. We brought fruit and yogurt but there was no room frig

Registration was fast and congenial . The lobby overlooking the water is gorgeous . Good first impression! Then we got to drag our heavy bags up a spiral staircase to the 3rd floor. Amazing that this modern hotel has no elevators! The female receptionist did off to help.

Our spacious ultra modern Queen room had a shared balcony overlooking Lake St.Pierre which is really a widening in the St.Lawrence a River and the outdoor pool. The spacious bath with a rain shower lacked counter space.Sleeping here was not a problem - it was very quiet and comfortable.

The location on a bluff above the lake affords great views of the water and sunset but also requires a very long flight of stairs to the pebble beach. The grounds are well maintained with a gazebo and lovely patio.

The hotel has a restaurant but we felt it was on the expensive side and decided to go out for dinner. Maybe next time!!
