My husband and I were here on Saturday night. In all honesty, we had headed elsewhere only to find out there was a 1 1/2 to 2 hr wait. We contemplated where to go and I had remembered seeing a magazine article on Monterey Bay Bistro (we've been years ago under the other name) so decided to switch things up a bit and head back east. Let's just say we toasted to the fact that the other establishment was full, bringing us here :)
Our host and waiter were most friendly and helpful, from wine selections to well everything really... We started out with PEI steamed mussels in the coconut curry sauce and even though my husband was leery about the curry, he loved it and would totally order again! He had surf n' turf and I had the pickerel - so amazingly good and his steak was done to perfection as well, which is a huge thing for him! We had no room left for dessert but we will for sure be back and bring friends! So many other great things to try and we really liked the monthly "around the world" menu idea too. For January it is Brazilian BBQ.
If you've been before and have mixed reviews, come back and give this place a chance! You won't be disappointed! Thanks for a great date night!
