We choose this restaurant for the White Fang reference so on our first day, we walked to the Wolf's Den before venturing out. We ordered the Short stack of pancakes and French Toast. Enjoy eating hearty meals since we will walk it off during the day.

Located at Mile 904 in the Caribou RV Park, this hideaway serves well executed international favourites. Your meal is prepared to order with fresh ingredients. The schnitzels with spaetzli and "fancy" salad are especially tasty. Advance notice is required for fondue; reservations may be a good idea since the restaurant is small and a favourite with locals.

We are long time customers, having dined at the Wolf's Den at least once a month for the last 8 or 9 years. The food is consistently very good, and the service is great. Summer is special with the bar-b-que menu. If you like lamb, try Yvonne's bar-b-que'd lamb chops - they are absolutely the best I have ever eaten.

My husband's favourite is the Italian Cordon bleu with blue cheese, the jaeger schnitzel runs a very close second. You must try the fancy salad which is a mixture of different pickled vegetables. It is wonderful with the home-made garlic dressing. The freshly made bread is perfect for sopping up any left-overs.

Harry and Yvonne provide a wonderful dining experience in a lovely setting. They are warm and welcoming. Their long-timer server Sarah is one of the best!

We were also in the Restaurant the night "worst experience" threw his little fit. We agree completely with "the rest of the story". It is shameful that someone should be able to use the internet to publicly voice what amounts to a lie, without of course, any need to defend this abuse of good hard-working people. We too are professionals, and I can pretty much guarantee you that we wouldn't go to the same establishment month after month, year after year, if we were abused by the staff and the food was less than excellent!

Definitely one of Whitehorse's very best restaurants.

The Wolfs Den Restaurant is a great place to go and eat. Make a reservation, this place is popular.

The chef is from Switzerland and you can expect superb food. My wife had the Schnitzel and I had the T-Bone steak. Both just fantastic. The Schnitzel wins this competition.

Do not expect a super fancy restaurant, you are now in the northern wilderness. If you want fancy, go to the big city. If you want good food in Canada's north, this is it!

We camped at the Caribou RV Park next door. Hope this helps.

We were at the Wolf Den the same day as the visitor that called this their worst experience. There are errors in his submission which should be corrected for others to know. We were at the table next to this visitor and were disturbed by his behavior and lack of consideration for others in a full restaurant. The servers were polite and asked the mother to please cover herself if she wished to feed the babe at the table and offered to provide a cover. The husband was rude and starting declaring their rights. These patrons at no time were disrespectfully treated by the management or staff. The patron on the other hand was very rude to the staff and with a loud voice went to the kitchen area to declare his intention to send in a bad review about this restaurant. We are professionals and come to this very clean, well run restaurant that offers a wonderful menu with great cuisine. We were relieved when this rude patron and family left so that we could enjoy our meal and not be subjected to breast feeding and loud voiced opinions that were meant only to hurt a respectable establishment. We as a group attend this restaurant on a regular basis to enjoy the wonderful, atmosphere and great staff, that are always pleased to present a wonderful meal. The cook is always a great host as well, coming to each table to make sure everything has been to the customers expectations. We often recommend this restaurant to our friends visiting the Yukon and always make sure this restaurant is part of their Yukon experience.
