This is the best B&B we have stayed in on our trip so far.
We have a strict budget, and it got us a very large, clean, comfortable room with TV and WIFI.
The breakfast was delicious
The hosts were friendly and very helpful when we needed to fax a document home.
The house and gardens are beautiful with a great view.
The only issue is that they are a ways out of town, so you need a car, but that is why the setting is so lovely.

I would firstly like to thank the owners Eva & Mel for the warm hospitality they have provided us throughout our 3 night stay. They welcomed us as part of their family, had knowledge of the place and area thank you to Mel. We felt really at home and comfortable getting to know the Stehelin family. Eva was so gracious attempting to organize tours for us to do, as we were in whitehorse not in the right time of year for activities/tours etc. Unfortunately we just missed the northern lights which was a bummer hence was the reason for our trip there. Overall we loved our stay there and would highly recommend it. Thank you again to the Stehelin family!!!!!!

Room tip: The Cappuccino Room was the main room that had an ensuite and had a beautiful view. Highly recommend.

The B&B is located a bit out of town and a Taxi there costs about 40 dollars so it's good to either have your own car or rent one both for convenience and price.
That being said, the location is absolutely perfect for viewing the northern lights and it baffles me that people will pay hundreds of dollars to go on a northern lights viewing trip, when you can watch them from the windows of the right B&B. It's also conveniently located if you want to go to the wildlife preserve, go dog mushing or have a dip in the Takhini hot springs.

We arrived there at 3 at night after a 40 hour bus-ride, so we were rather exhausted. There was a bit of a misunderstanding with the date we were supposed to arrive, but we got a greeting from the big friendly dog that i never remembered the name of, so well... We went to sleep on the lounge and obviously surprised Eva a bit in the morning. She felt so bad that we got the Capuccino room for the price of a regular room and the night on the lounge for free, which i honestly didn't expect, but I'm very greatful.
We also met her husband and sons, and all were really friendly and helpful and we had a lot of fun and interesting conversations at the breakfast table.
The food was absolutely fabulous, with everything from waffles with maple syrup to a full Mexican breakfast.

I would not have wanted to stay anywhere else!

Room tip: The Capuccino room is the biggest room with an excelent view to the north if you want to see the northern lights.

We had a busy and wonderful week in Whitehorse and looked forward to coming "home" each evening to relax in this gorgeous B&B. I had informed Eva in advance that I needed to eat gluten-free meals, and she prepared delicious and plentiful breakfasts. We were also able to use the clothes washer and dryer while we were there and this was especially useful.
