“Marvelous location for birding”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

This is the place to come to to watch all kinds of different birds, from ducks to eagles to warblers. Make sure you bring binoculars and a good camera, if you are interested in taking photos. You will not be disappointed, though you should be aware of the fact that bears also frequent the area at times.

“A wonderful tranquil spot”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

One of my favorite city getaways. Whenever I have not had a chance to get out of town for a while, I heat to the creek/marsh and spend some wonderfully restoring moments there listening to all the birds singing. Eagles nest in the area and it is a favorite gathering place for them to bath and fish.

Any time spent in this area is so worthwhile and it's all free!
