On a rise, not far from the town centre stands the ruin of the castle. We researched it a bit, but on site there is almost nothing. It is a point on a walking route and offers good views across two of the five lakes which surround this town.
Actually, having done a bit of reading up in advance, I enjoyed my half hour's ramble, but otherwise, this was little more than a few walls in a parkland setting, with water views.
