A two bedroom chalet 300m off the main road in Southport. Wood burning fire keeps the place cosy, big windows look out into and over the trees. All the facilities and more than basic provisions (fresh baked still warm bread), charming and helpful hosts. Totally peaceful — the pademelons won't keep you awake at night.

We stayed in this beautiful rustic self catering cottage for 3 nights. It is very comfortable, clean, immaculate and very tastefully presented with everything you could need provided. It is in an idyllic bush setting, private and the ideal place to sit on the deck at the end of a day walking, relax with a glass of wine and watch the animals that visit. It is a good place to stay if visiting the Ida Bay tramway, Hastings Caves and thermal pool or visiting Cockle Creek. Would love to visit again.

Such an amazing place to stay, a cozy cottage surrounded by forest and bird calls. The hosts were so helpful and made the best jam I've ever tasted! Definitely would recommend and hope to come back some time

We were very well looked after with Barbara's tasty bread and redcurrant & strawberry jam. It is ideal for self-catering and located in attractive but natural landscape garden.
We were close to the South Coast Track and Barbara advised us on walking to South Cape Bay, a really breathtaking beach with an interesting and varied walk. It was lovely to visit this area.

Two nights in this delightful cottage was not long enough, to be welcomed with freshly baked bread and brownies was just the beginning to a perfect stay. The cottage has absolutely everything you need and made a great base for journeys down to Cockle Creek , Hastings Caves and thermal pools
