We contacted Mawsons Ice cream parlour because our grandchildren were visiting and one of them had a birthday while they were with us and they wanted to go there for a little tea party. When I spoke to them they were happy to help and we were able to put up some balloons. The food was very good they did some part sandwiches, cakes and fruit and the boys favourite milkshakes. This was finished with an ice cream each and then they brought out the. Birthday cake I had taken earlier whilst singing happy birthday. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and very helpful. I would recommend going there to any visiting the area.

Lovely ice cream with about a dozen flavours which I am told change regularly. It was hard to make a choice as I liked all the flavours available, but settled for honeycomb crunch and millionaires shortbread. It was delicious. You can spot this place by the huge black and white plastic cow outside just up the hill from the (free!) car park.

Fantastic home made ice cream, great selection of original flavours and huuuge portions!!! They also make great coffees and nothing beats their seaside location.

I've visited here several times both as a take out service and eat in.
You can nip in to get a freshly made ice-cream (of which there are soooooo many choices), and eat it whilst walking or sitting on the sea front. Or on a cold wintery day you can go inside and have lunch with hot chocolate (or coffee or tea), take a book and watch the day go by.
The staff are friendly and welcoming,
If the ice cream you fancy isn't in the fridge on show, ask as they somethimes have others in the kitchen.
Well worth a visit when in the area.
